I agree with you about her voice, but she does have talent in home design. Remember, the show is about flip or flop. She has to create what sells and people are usually blown away when they view the home. My biggest issue is that they seldom encounter any structural issues like other shows do. Insect damage, nob & tube electrical, water damage, mold, asbestos and other expensive repairs seldom come up like other home renovation shows.

There's more to this life than being married to somebody, especially one who has money or influence. I find it quite appalling that society places high standard on women for marriage, when it's usually the man who wanders, and the woman who does the most work at the relationship but is discarded for something younger or whatever. It's sad how some parents are blinded by the success, they cannot understand their child who is going through a horrific divorce, needs them to rally around her and protect her. Rather than do this, they are more interested in the relationship with the ex-husband (unbeknown to them, could be abusive, violent, and/or having an affair), they don't trust their daughter's decision where she has had to cut them off to preserve her personal wellbeing, so she can build herself back up and create anew. So many, run to the in-law, over their own child.

Doesn't matter why the divorce happened that is between them, but like when your child fights with their spouse, unless there is physical or mental actions going on, you as a parent need to just step back and take no sides, open your door if they need to escape for a little bit and don't pressure them to talk, if they want to then all you can do is be understanding and offer no comment, one wrong word against the spouse will be your undoing and that, will always be remembered

My boyfriend had to sign the DNR for his Dad as there was no one else to make the decision. His Dad passed from dementia and complications from diabetes after being in nursing home care for 7 years. I've never seen someone so conflicted. It is unique in the pain you feel in having a sort of responsibility for your parent passing when they do. Melissa's mom's pain and grief brought me to tears. Tyler's gift brings closure and comfort to so many. Bless him.
