Tyler was the better fighter. Picked his shots well. Warupi mantained a closed high guard leaving Tyler trapping him with his game combos. The problem with PNG boxers is the lack of basic boxing balance from the hips- common in all PNG and solomon island boxers- balanced fighting stance from the hips, its just bad form that can be improved and corrected by coaches during training camps. Otherwise power combinations and traps are good.

Its quite unfortunate that with ong boxers they lack proper training equipment, nutritional knowledge and recovery methods. Yet they still manage to make these competitions. With proper coaching equipment, nutrition and recovery I guarantee a world champ.
