He never said give up, he said learn when to let go of certain responsibilities in your business and let people better than you handle them (i.e sister does accounting when first starting up, at some point hiring a professional accountant is best)

I would like to hear it both ways. That title stimulated me, he did answer the question about letting go. Paraphrasing to let go of the old ways, to be able to bring Your own seat to the table. I was inspired from an earlier comment that was put so eloquently.🥰

Let's all take a second to appreciate the beauty in the nuance of this video. A black man from the south...who could be seen as "talking white" and built his career off what could be seen as "cross dressing" and being an "uncle tom". Yet despite all these viewpoints he managed to become one of the most respected and successful actors and artists (even outside of the black community) in the business. Just thought I'd drop that lil gem lol

I worked at Tyler perry studios back in 2015 before everything was finished. The place is humongous. It’s definitely like a city inside of a city. When I worked there they filmed the walking dead and madeas boo 1 and 2. It’s not unbelievable for me to see how far it’s come. Good job Mr.Perry and thank you for the opportunity and experience.
