They FINALLY updated the Texas State Parks reservation system but they still have some issues with it. I am supposed to get a call back from TPWD on Monday I have a reservation but I'm going to try to reserve a specific spot at Tawakoni....I think I'd like spot # 51 if its available...we'll see how that goes! Looking forward to seeing you guys! That weekend, Christy and I will be celebrating our 11th year wedding anniversary!

@@SunsetSeekers 11 years?! dang son that is some time! Yappy and I have been together almost 15 years, seems like only yesterday! I have yet to dig into the new reservation system, we are buying an new house and selling the current one. talk about work!

@@MultiJackcooper Yappy must be even more camera shy than Christy because I don't recall seeing her in any of your videos. Buying a new house sounds like a lot of work!

@@SunsetSeekers Im not sure if "camera shy" is the correct term. I think it has more to do with Bob Barker shy!! LOL!! Im not too sure she wants to be connected to my KZbin persona!!

We used to live in that area. We lived in Point and my husband worked for the city of Tawakoni.

Excellent review. Thank you for taking time to give us such beautiful scenery and a lovely view of the lake. Maybe next time, a high speed or quick view of all of the camping loops would be nice. I know Lakeview has fantastic lake front sites and Cedar Point also has nice pull-thru RV sites as well as its own dump station.

Thank you so much for watching!! I had footage from other parts of the park but I really try to keep my camping videos under 12 minutes long and so I ended up editing out about 18 extra minutes! LOL! (My video started out around 30 minutes long!)
@DudeRV6 жыл бұрын
I will be posting an FPV Scooter tour of all the camping loops in a couple of weeks, if you are interested.

Beautiful home park Mike. Happy belated birthday too. Wish my home park was as nice. My home park is the closest to me about 15 miles. Not near as nice as yours, but great for bike riding. Thx for sharing

I remember riding some pretty cool trails when I was a kid but I had no idea how popular mountain biking had become at the park! We had a wonderful Christmas vacation! Thanks for watching!

Their site numbers have changed since they started their new Reservation details and increase the $price of the campsites.

Great video, but if I may suggest, you might try to balance the audio. It's very hard to hear what you are saying. The background music is overwhelming your dialogue 🙄

Happy very lat Bday! one suggestion, slow down on the panoramic pan shots, they are a bit too fast to really take in the beauty.
@SunsetSeekers6 жыл бұрын
I have a camera gimbal that should help me with that in the future (along with making a more deliberate and slow pan). I am trying to improve the quality of my videos and I think I've gotten a lot better since I started a little over a year ago.
