100% Kendrick's music is cutting everybody that commits those crimes I mean he comes from Compton He's always like Tupac and has tried to emulate the same change in hip hop that Tupac was fighting for with our people Yes he's not perfect but he sacrificing his career to try make the same moves to help his people do right going forward by putting out uplifting music showing that he's not perfect in his music but he's still trying to change and do the right thing as far as the cultures concerned The fans just really aren't listening objectively! Not every rapper has got to do club music and our culture is so used to club bangers that if you don't wrap on that type of beat and talk about those topics they're used to they think you're lame! When really their mindset is pathetic!

So looking back at this quote after Tyler released the new songs recently ie the one where he kills off all his past album persona's and just strips down to normal Tyler. This was a subtle hint that Tyler's next album is going to be raw and unfiltered pure him no gimmicks or wacky antics no blonde wig no green ski mask no travel gear. Seems like he was inspired by Kendrick's last album to be more open & vulnerable. More than he has before. Without the antics. I'm excited but also curious what he has to say. As he's given us pieces of his real life over the years but never all of Tyler. I think he shared the most of himself on the Wolf album which isn't held in high enough regard.

I love how big of a fan of music he is, and isn't afraid to show it. So many artists just try to be intellectual or nonchalant but Tyler geeks out about what he likes

It’s crazy, I’ve had the same take on this album but Tyler said it better than I could

It's true. Listening to Father Time for the first time really made me feel so uncomfortable despite how much I loved it.

I agree with Tyler 100% here, I love Mr. Morale so much - one of the few albums to actually make me cry. One of his best projects, besides Good Kid Mad City and TPAB

It came after DAMN., which was filled with radio banger after radio banger, and as a result it set that high expectation for his next album. No one expected an introspective journey into his psyche.
