Honestly I love Kali Uchi's style in songs like this and ones like "See You Again" and especially "After The Storm". It really has this sorta "oldies 1950s-esque" sort of vibe to it, really dreamy. It could convey the darkness and depressive period Tyler was going through during Goblin. He was made out to be punky and rebellious, hence why he eat the roach and it was in black and white. It's to represent the sadness. Cherry Bomb has lots of positive vibes, lots of soul and R&B influences which reflect on Tyler's music tastes. He's in a better place now: mentally, financially and musically. He's furthered his career and he's happy.

Cherry Bomb was in many ways a metamorphosis of Tyler's music. Bastard and Goblin were offensive, disgusting, disrespectful. Wolf had the same energy, but was calmer and less offensive. These were the early stages where tyler was just a caterpillar. In Cherry Bomb, it was just experimentation and Tyler finding his sound, and in Flowerboy, he finally turned into a butterfly.

This song couldn’t be titled any better Everything about it is perfect and we need more of this and it’s so good to see how well Tyler has progressed as an artist from how he started to the masterpieces he now releases This point in Tyler’s music career is where he reaches a turning point and his taste change from what it was and demonic to beautiful like this and since then he has got better and better and produces music that makes me feel like myself and that really reflects me as a person and I thank him for that

Tyler basically Launched Kali and Frank Ocean , No one can tell me that Tyler has giving a MASSIVE contribution to the music, He managed to bring Kali Uchis and Sir Roy Fucking Ayers in the same track making probably one of the best songs of the last decade perfectly giving the same vibe of Everybody loves the sunshine , somehow behind my Musical choice Tyler is always been a massive inspo and influence to me. What a genius what a Human being. And just yesterday i've been to Roy Ayers Farewell concert not a single time thought Tyler could've chosen someone else to that track.
