My analogy for this: Say Sardaco is a seasoned LoL player and Geranimo is the noob and they go bot duo as Leona (Sardako) and Caitlyn (Geranimo). Sardako says: "Any time I cc someone, lay a trap on top of them" Geranimo complies. Next game, Sardako plays Maokai support and engages with W, but he Q afterwards. Geranimo traps where Maokai Ws, but when maokai Q's, the trap doesn't land. Now Geranimo COULD understand Maokai's combo and how he knocks targets back, but Geranimo doesn't since he's only played a few months, so Cait's trap misses. Now Sardaco says: "A good caitlyn would've trapped behind" Sure, that would be true, a good Caitlyn that was playing for years on end and understood every single cc mechanic and displacement ranges, sure. However, when T1 plays Maokai, he roots and WAITS for geranimo to trap, and after trap goes off, he Q's. Is one better than the other? No. But if you're used to one mechanic and no one tells you it will change, of course you'll miss. But for doing what you were told before and missing a mechanic, you are attacked passive aggressively when all you've done was being compliant? That'll shortfuse anyone.

Being in a guild on wow with friends and peers and being really involved in the guild and members is very fun it's what makes wow so good not the actual gameplay but the community and the drama of the guild what happens with other guilds rivalry of guilds rivalry of players and PvP players on the server back in vanilla we knew the names of all the top PvP players from horde and alliance on are server. We knew the names of the top guild the top players names ect people get really involved and it makes it feel almost real.

If Only Fangs is supposed to be a big team effort, the current rule to role need on BWE's makes no sense. Even if you guys were allowed to use the AH, it's so selfish to need it just for the gold. Also, isn't the entire point of running that to help people gear? Seems super counter-intuitive to hinder someone's gearing progress. Sardaco was friends with the guy i think. He was in a discord call with people and said if a certain guy (i think zeroji) jumps into the arena to kill the guy getting punished, they all need to jump in and kill him to protect the guy being punished. When it came down to it the guy jumped in and killed the cheater. Sardaco just stood there silently watching and didnt do anything about it.

Sardaco so bad for callouts, freezing trap is so unreliable and can't be reapplied once broken before your next FD so every 30 secs or so, which Geranimo fkn did while doing Sardaco's job by face tanking. Frost traps can be resisted too, but mobs can get slowed by another tic if not fast enough before exiting aoe zone and are way more reliable generally and affect the the whole pack.

Not that tanking is hard but it just gives you a ton of information about each target so you can maximize your threat across them all. Will help immensely on HC because you minimize runners escaping your threat when tanking multiple targets

It does look like Geranimo overeacted, but what he said about being constantly being talked down to is not hard to believe at all imo, the first interaction t1 and his group had with this sardaco guy is after emilya's first death when he just joined the vc uninvited and started ego checking tyler, very awkward, and in general wow players do seem to be passive agressive and scared of confrontation, just throwing jabs and then crazy making the person once they get confronted with it. Thing is, you don't banter or shit talk with someone if the only thing you did with them is being disrespectful, instead if sardaco did compliment and joke around with geranimo for a while before this, then i think the latter would be in the wrong, but if someone just keeps saying passive aggressive stuff to you, that's not bantering, they are trying to put you down to make themselves feel better. I’ve been playing wow since 2007.. this has always been an issue with the wow community. Min max everything to the point where the game is boring. There are classes that can almost never get into groups because of the min max bullshit. It’s classic, any class in classic can do any content, the wow community will just watch 1 or 2 KZbin videos and they think they are an Esports players.. this has been an on going issue for years.

Agreed, I haven't played nearly as long and honestly ever really got into it for a short while. The last time I played I was good... like top 5 best in the server cluster good. I was a fury warrior having fully maxed gearscore with bis everything and could tell you every possible thing about every possible mythic keystone at the time. Despite this it was still incredibly hard to get into groups purely because at a theoretical level a certain class could outdmg me by a fraction of a percent. The min max is super bs and only ever truly matters if you need to scrape out that last little bit of damage against a boss you have wiped 9 times to or if you are speed running. WoW players think they are like the 2nd coming just because they have played for a while or did something a single time. Like not trying to be rude but I started with only 7 weeks left in that season and got to one of the top spots in the server cluster. Everyone else pretty much had 4 full months of a head start on me yet despite their precious min maxing only a very very select few actually "beat" me in pretty much any category. Just wish we could all enjoy the game without the sweats who think they are WoW Gods.

as someone who has played wow on and off for 20 years, what Tyler is saying at 20:00 is basically the best answer to the sweats. here's the thing. sweats will constantly say how easy the game is, that its a joke, etc, but then, if its so easy, why are they constantly having to play optimally? if someone wants to be a shaman let them be a shaman healer. but these small ego sweats cant stand not being a part of 'meta' comps for an 'easy game'. make up your mind morons. is the game easy? if it is, then people can play whatever, optimally or not, and do a good enough job.

People act like t1 is just automatically worse because he has only played for a month. Dude got direct coaching on step by step spell by spell how to tank by Amphee (one of the best tanks in hardcore history) and he did exactly what he was told over and over. So many people play this game wrong for 20 years and just get by, and then assume they are better because they have played for 20 years. Sorry but it is actually possible for t1 (quick game learner) to become better then other people at a specific thing like tanking in a short period of time when he is being spoon fed the best starts from the best players.

The loot situation sparked conversation that I believe you came to the right conclusion on. As a 20 year vet of WoW I haven't always agreed with the min max to a certain degree but appreciate the results that come from it. Gear for new players is the be all end all so the perspective of sweats is that it will be replaced doesn't help as they see it as gold. Therefore, the outcome of missing out on loot is an attack on a new player's character growth rather than par for the course. Having said that... I agree that is all a moot point as the guild is locked out of the auction house and just cannibalizes the gold within the guild. I don't agree with your perspective all the time, but this is a big W. It definitely is lending to positive relations between the skill levels within the guild.
