I live in SoCal, I go to Wilson Creek winery periodically. I love the Peach Bellini and the Almond sparkling wines. I hope you tasted both. Of course there are other wonderful wineries there too. If you want to visit Disneyland and Temecula again, consider flying into Santa Ana (SNA) airport. It’s closer to both and a smaller, easier airport, much less traffic, direct into Orange County. Trust me you’ll thank me for this tip even if you plan to drive into LA county

You guys came here at our literal hottest time of the year! It was terrible that week!!! Don't know how you made it at Disneyland! And the California weather got you with the rain 😂. We have the most bipolar weather ever! We've been having a nice fall though this year! My best recommendation is to come back in winter or spring. It's a nice and cool time of the year. Glad you guys enjoyed your time!!! Higly recommendation going to the USS Midway Museum next time you're here! Just not when its scorching. 🙃

If you can, skip LAX and fly into San Diego. Your life will be better for it 😂. John Wayne’s a good airport too but it’s usually more expensive.

We looked at doing that and A) it was more expensive and B) LAX was the only option we could fly into nonstop from IND, so we decided it was better to have one flight and not risk doing two legs with two kiddos!

If you guys do a West Coast road trip you should look at flying into Medford, OR. We did that earlier this year (Hubs, myself, our 4 y/o son) and spent 2 weeks visiting/driving and it was amazing! I lived about 30 min from Medford for 5 years and that is by far the best smaller airport I've used and soo convenient off the I5! From Medford you can head 7-8 hours North to Seattle, or 7-8 hours South to Yosemite. And rental cars were substantially cheaper because CA has a high rental car tax lol

I’m born and raised in Southern California. I really enjoyed all the videos. I don’t know if this makes it any easier or if it is an option but my husband and I always try to leave out of John Wayne airport in orange county or Long Beach Airport. They are obviously a little smaller than LAX but it’s always worth a shot.

We actually looked into this and LAX had the only direct flight from IND. That was our number one priority which is why we did this one! We didn’t want to worry with any extra legs of flights being delayed or anything since we were traveling with two young kiddos. Our goal was to get there and get there fast hah! If a kid screams in your own rental car, that’s fine, but not as much fun on an airplane. But honestly, we’ve flown in and out of LAX three times now and never really had any issues, as long as we allowed enough time. Next time we go, when the girls are a little older, we are definitely going to see what other options we have at John Wayne or San Diego!
