I have goosebumps. We used to live close enough to DLand that we could hear the percussion from our house and see the fireworks from our upstairs windows. We had passes and went at least once a week. I miss it so much and watching this gives me all the feels!

Your mug is kinda appropriate still. You’ll see several instances around the park where Disneyland is still referred to as the “Magic Kingdom” (eg. the announcement of the Disneyland railroad; fireworks shows; descriptions of Disneyland in promotional materials). TWDC still refers to Disneyland as “Walt’s original Magic Kingdom.”

Lol the goofy part. When we went in August we had just went past the entrance and I think goofy and chip or dale were having a meet and great but the lines were long. My mom went to make line and as soon as she did minnie mouse came out and i happened to be right where the line was. So lucky. My baby had a minnie mouse ears headband I found on amazon.

Wow, Disney’s changed quite a bit since I went! It’s only been 2 years. That place you went to for the tostadas used to have clam chowder bread bowls. It’s had a New Orleans theme. A little sad it’s gone, but excited to check out the new stuff when I go back
