The most impressive part is how the boys hardly slept since they were promoting their comeback Fireworks( I'm the one) along with half the members shooting for the kdrama (imitation). I think a member said the didn't sleep for two days because all this was happening at the same time and they had to rehearse all day. They were exhausted, but gave what was called one of the best kpop performances that year. Ateez never ever give anything less than their all. The sad part is that Mingi didn't participate since he was on hiatus for his anxiety and unfortunately Ateez had to perform without him. Thankfully he's so much better now and Ateez sure made him proud. Also Stray Kids didn't have Hyunjin, but they also performed amazingly ❤

When you know Jongho's massive high note run is coming and you're waiting to see the reaction...It makes me happy that other people get so pumped about it. What gets me about this performance is that this was WITHOUT Mingi. And they still made all kinds of insane visuals, new choreography, and killed a giant seamonster. Their Kingdom shows are always nuts in the very best way possible.

The way Hongjoong watched Pirates of Caribbean at 2am, barley slept and then searches for classical music that could be mixed, finds Dvorak’s Symphony #9 and the most EPIC mix was born!! Then add them throwing in the debut of Jongho’s power with that 4th octave as an added bonus!! I still watch this a few times a month…it’s honestly just mind blowing!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Jongho did those vocals live during a concert in Atlanta, his mic broke, but his vocals still rang through the rafters! I love KQ & the relationship the guys have with the staff is so special.

This performance was my favorite Ateez performance! They were so amazing and captivating!

Oh, not to worry, when they could finally resume touring after COVID restrictions were lifted, they performed this version of Wonderland on tour to sold out ARENAS!!! They got the applause they so deserve. And fun fact, there was one concert where Jongho's mic failed, but he sang his part regardless, and even without the mic, he could be heard all the way at the back and in the highest seats, he's that powerful a vocalist!!! There truly is no one like him amongst the 4th gen kpop groups. The Symphony No. 9 in E Minor is called "From the New World" and has been popularly used in films and tv shows as far back as the 1930's. It's so ingrained in pop culture, that even those who don't know anything about classical music, know this piece! It's ICONIC! (OH and even more impressive... Ateez were in the middle of their "Fireworks" comeback when this part of Kingdom was being filmed, so they were basically running on fumes having almost no sleep in about a 3 day period, going from rehearsal for the comeback, to filming their music show stage, to rehearsal for Kingdom, to filming for Kingdom... And they still pulled off a Top Tier First Place performance. They have all my admiration and respect, they are absolutely incredible. Imagine how much better the performance would have been if they were well rested...Hmmm? They are definitely worth every penny to see LIVE. If you EVER get the opportunity to go see them, TAKE IT!! I've seen them 3 times, and they NEVER disappoint!!)

I love the fact they took first place numerous times after the intro.....everyone on that stage is beyond worthy but ATEEZ were the under dogs and they came through!! I personally was there when they debuted but it's so amazing to see the interaction between groups from different eras. So much respect towards each other.......wish fandoms would get the memo. p.s. Jongho is to high vocals what Feelix is to low. 😂 Kingdom brought us so many unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime k-pop performances. Honestly, Stray Kids will forever be #1 in my heart, but Ateez won a new fan with this performance. It is still I think the single best performance in k-pop I have ever seen.

They were the first group from KQ. And they are great. This was a spectacular performance. You should probably watch & react to all the Kingdom performances. Of all the groups. There was so much variety in what was sung, and how they put on a performance. Just. All of it was good. I went into watching it just for SKZ & Ateez. I ended up enjoying all of them....Even if I won't really watch the other groups stuff....Except BTOB. I watch their stuff too. But I appreciated the songs & performances of the other artists. Some of them blew me away. But sadly I found I didn't click with most of their music outside a few songs. So I didn't really expand my musical taste, but I hope others do. I loved watching the show with the commentary from the other idols. They have some very great reactions.

Others have mentioned this is Dvorak's Symphony #9, The New World Symphony. All of Ateez's remixes for Kingdom incorporated classical music - it was a deliberate choice and really amazing. They used Ode to Joy, New World Symphony, Summer from Vivaldi's Four Seasons... it's really impressive how they incorporated the classical elements.

This is one of the best performances from ATEEZ and i really love it!! And this why they're well-known as the masters of performance. Their energy is unmatched and always raise the standard up high. Btw, ATEEZ has their own lore. They're the (time travel) pirates ☠️ and this Kingdom show is like their playground (in my opinion 😁) their performances here are full of their storyline and even gave a hints of their new album for year ahead. if u want similar live musical experiences for anime bgm soundtracks then would 102% recommend- ATTACK ON TITAN SUITE HIROYUKI SAWANO PROJECT EMU its a live studio performance by the composer hiroyuki sawano (piano), kohta yamamoto (synth) and their incredible team! sawano is a legend in the anime community and his music is super hype and the lyrics is really meaningful. the performance covers 6 most iconic songs from the show and definitely a mustwatch before you decide to watch the shoe itself
