On the 630 Baler, On the smooth roller behind the Rake Springs where the hay is raked in, put strips of non skid running board tape across the roller, as many as you have tape for, you won’t have to worry about starting a bale again, it will bale like never before! Your Welcome!

Have you tried leaving the pin in......where you place the pin on the side of the baler to release the tension on the belts ? I welded the pin in on my baler. Never an issue again ! It eats hay ! Also I suppose you have a problem with hay recirculating around between the large dimpled roll and the small 4 inch roller too ? And ripping belts ? Common problems or should I say.....routine problems ? Easy to solve both issues !

Looking at the 574 but it has Hydro transmission. I live in North central PA and have some hills. I have a Hesston 530 round baler. Do you think the 574 with hydro would be enough tractor to bale with?

Mine is not hydro so I don't really know what they are like. Mine does fine even on some hills but I wouldn't make anything bigger than a 4x4 with it.

Also wondering what pto rpm do you run it at and do you slow the pto down when you eject a bale? Thanks

I run it at 540 and yes I shut it off when I dump out a bale.

Nice video. Do you think a T474 would handle it OK as well? About 5 less horsepower. Also is yours hydrostatic?

Yeah I'm sure yours would run it. I've ran it with my 353 but it struggles a little. Mine is not hydrostatic

@Mallon Farms your 353 is not hydro or your 574 isn't? Mine is and I know that takes a little more power due to losses
