Jeremy! This is by far my favorite teletone audio product. Y'all made a huge jump in product design and complexity. I made my first drum machine a year ago and know how hard it is to do something like this while retaining character. The pitch/mod wheel features are ingenious. Great job to your entire team!

I’d literally pay $20 a month in a heart beat just to hear more of these kinds of videos among others as they actually help create a larger understanding of the instrument, but overall mixing as well. For the past 2 years the ONLY drums I have used were XLN’s addictive drums. They still are goated for the midi drumming, but I plan to use this whenever I want to program the drums. Plus I had to spend a lot of time with effects to get the sound I wanted from XLN’s kits. You guys have that warm, analog recorded dustiness I put into my sound, and u have it seemingly out the box! I just bought this a few days ago but won’t be able to try it out yet. Soon I’ll cop vespertone and ondine

There is no half time or double time option / shortcut, you would just need to write the beat in whatever time you want 👍

You can either use your Pitch Wheel on your MIDI keyboard, or if you don't have a Pitch Wheel on your keyboard you can draw it in on your MIDI track in the Pitch Wheel lane.

Yes, you can drag the MIDI out of the beatmaker with the MIDI drag icon in the beatmaker.

Yes! And we encourage folks to share their own beats with others. Beats are saved as .NKI files in the Tympo folder. 👍

Love, love, love how this instrument sounds. I can not for the life of me get the pitch and mod wheel effects to actually record to my DAW. Using the latest Logic Pro and the wheels on the interface (no hardware) I can track a beat into the DAW, but if I use those additional effects the recording basically ignores them. Any tips on how to overcome this? Thanks!

Hi Doug. Thank you so much! If you do not have a MIDI keyboard then you will need to draw in the MIDI data into Logic. So on your MIDI track, when using the BEATMAKER, just draw in MIDI data into the Pitch Wheel and Mod Wheel lanes. That should be it!

Yes. Just as there is velocity lanes, there are all kinds of different MIDI data lanes in the Piano Roll Editor. I would Google how to draw mod wheel MIDI data into Piano Roll Editor in Logic. 👍

its weird theres no way to automate the pitch wheel, like kontakt wont let you automate it

You can write in pitch wheel "automation" in your DAW's midi lane under the pitch wheel data. But you can't use host automation to do it. It needs to be in the MIDI lane next to velocity, mod wheel etc in your DAW's midi lane.

We’ve not personally tried that, but each drum is assigned to a MIDI note, so presumably if a e-drum kit can trigger certain MIDI notes it should work! I think we’ve seen one person using Tympo that way but cannot confirm 👍

Love the plugin! So the pitch wheel thing(on my Nord its a stick) When I stretch the audio down with pitch stick then un check the stretch dot the wheel doesnt stay down like you say,what am I doing wrong?

Great! Yeah, that’s sort of the trick. Despite the pitch wheel snapping back in place the samples remain stretched.
