Great video Dan! I work for the Provincial Telco and have been across the street from that elevator probably a 100 times at the Tyndal "Telephone Hut" through the 90 and 2000's. Yes times change. Thanks!

Drones are giving us a refreshing new angles on things. Well done.

I don't know how it came up on my feed but nice work. It's kind of bittersweet to see another one disappear. I shot stills of one in Columbus, Montana a few years ago that was still standing but opened up on one side by the demo excavator. The interior construction is impressive and as many times as I've shot stills of old elevators, I'd never seen the interiors before. Can you imagine trying to build one of these in three or four weeks today? I haven't played with the drones yet (maybe it's been a subconscious aversion because I miss doing aerial shoots from a plane? lol) but really must one of these days. You obtained some nice angles and footage here and the planning paid off. I worked in radio for about 12 or 13 years total until I learned driving trucks allowed one to actually eat lol... Nice job voicing this and the music bed wasn't distracting or annoying. Well done!

I don't know how it showed up on your feed either but I'm happy it did and thanks! It's great that ppl from other places in the world can appreciate what's going on here. I saw a bit but not all of the interior and heard a lot about their construction. Amazing! "They don't build them like the used to" is truly a sad phrase. Definitely grab a drone and have fun. If you like photography it's the perfect tool to get angles you couldn't before. Example: flooding. You can't really understand flooding until you've seen it from the air. (Check my flooding video just a week before this one.) Thanks again for the kind comments, I hope to see you in here again!

Nicely done Dan. I am envious of your drone equipment and have a special place in my heart for the the prairie sentinels which are quickly disappearing. Found your channel thru the flood water at Morris. Keep up the good work

Tyndall is that town with an old limestone quarry of some note iirc.

That's correct. "Tyndall Stone" is actually a copy-written name for it.

@@DanHarperPhoto The stuff with random fossilized sea creatures in it that looks a tiny bit like marble without the glossy finish. Cool.

Turn off the annoying music!!! Really, if you want to make a music video, do it. Don't ruin what otherwise may have been a interesting video.
