Type 2 Detectives / Hayburner / Ewan McGregor’s Project ‘58

We were delighted to be involved in this very exciting build with Hayburner Magazine for Ewan McGregor's 1958 Panel van. It was a one day build up of the suspension and brake components that we had supplied for the van. The parts included Front suspension beam, Disc and Drum Brakes, Brake lines, Rear suspension, spring plates and gearbox, fuel tank along with Bilstein Type 2 Detectives specification shock absorbers. It was a full on effort by the whole of the Type 2 Detectives and Hayburner teams with everyone working on different aspects of the build, culminating in the '58 rolling out of the workshop running and driving at the end of the day. It then took a return trip back to Hayburner HQ to complete the final touches to complete the build.
