Thank you so much for making this video. I have been diagnosed with type two diabetes and my primary physician sent me to a specialist who right away without further exams/testing put me on metformin, lantus & a new trial drug (now for the public) Invokana. I've never taken any medications on a regular basis at any given time & all my Chem blood work has always been exemplary... Except my glucose. I told her I wanted to get to the core of the problem and she insists it's my pancreas. She also insists that I won't be on any of it for the rest of my life... But I do not trust or believe her. Thanks for shedding light on this horrible devastating disease.

You are so right about insulin meds. I was put on insulin during pregnancy, after I gave birth my life hasn't been the same. I have dizziness, and bad hypertension for 8 mos, can't care for my kids, & husband can't go back to work because of my health. Also GI is more messed up ever since insulin shots usage. Beware!!

I have been watching two of your videos. I really appreciate you educating the public. It drives me quite mad how patients, in our conventional system, do not have enough power related to their own care! The problems you identified are quite true. I also would argue that we have a much larger social problem as evidenced by the fact that the incidence of DM II has more than doubled since the 90s in the US. I do not claim to know the exact etiology. Something is wrong.

u are a remarkable Doctor ;) thank you for this vid I am going for blood work next week as my fasting sugars are too high, i have had a really bad diet for many years and I also have an anxiety disorder along with agoraphobia and have a hard time dealing with stress 60% of the time so I avoid a lot, u see my vicious cycle? so NOW I know to get my liver function and adrenal glands tests as well as my hemoglobin, thyroid and triglycerides :D thank you Dr, Clark
