You're right, but sadly it did show that good mobility was also needed. It is logical to assume that the Leopard family come from the Panther (a medium tank) but not from a Tiger (heavy tank).

Artillery is still alive and strong, guided munition is awful costly and if I recall correctly, with the price of one guided bomb you can produce 10-20 unguided aka "normal" bombs.

NO sadly it's the Panthers, not Tigers. It's the sloping armour of the Panthers that inspired the 2nd gen tanks, like the Leopard.

I completely agree, all modern tanks are no different than the other, countries brag that their "extra 3mm of armour" is great protection, while it barely helps. It's all the same, one medium sized turret, a 120mm gun, and around 40 kilometers of speed. Tanks went from incredible, to boring and standard, they even eliminated the StuG and jagdpanther (tank destroyer) designs, and artillery is nonexistent because of complex guided bombs.

Well if it is based more on a Leopard tank then a Abrams then it is worse considering the Abrams is quite substantially better then a leopard. and Besides that a T-90 is still better...Russia is not the Soviet Union anymore so don't Hate the T-90, Or Russia for that matter, it's really a good tank better then any other.

Either way This video is about japan, Hopefully they never get a Real Army again, It's a Scary thought to have the Japanese in War again to many abuses in the past and a very warped way of looking at war. I love Japan and the Japanese but Culturally war is not something they can handle.

Why do some of them stop and shoot? That's old school. Shoot on the move. Where is it's armor beside the basic armor? These have no slat armor, no reactive armor and not even smoke launchers. It also uses steel and ceramics which can be penetrated by any anti-tank weapon made from 1980 and up. So it was designed in 1976 and made in 1989, they should be upgrading it. Even the Leopard 2 is on its 5th upgrade.

Besides all of this The M1 Abrams is a Amazing tank too, when compared to The Type 90 there isn't much of one not only is the Abrams more capable but about 300 type 90s have been built about 10,000 Abrams have been.
