In this video, we have an amazing success story for you.
At 2-years-old, Arnah’s daughter Lilyana had unexpected health issues. Not knowing what the problem was, she sought help from her doctor. After a misdiagnosis, Lilyana started to feel faint and collapsed when trying to walk.
Worried, Arnah called a friend close by with experience as a nurse. They quickly discovered that Lilyana had seriously high blood sugar levels and other signs of type-1 diabetes.
The doctors later agreed on this diagnosis and started Lilyana on medications and a new diet. Unfortunately, this diet was full of carbohydrates, which caused more severe blood sugar spikes.
Arnah decided to try something to help her daughter normalize her blood sugar levels-keto.
With the Healthy Keto diet, your body runs on ketones instead of sugar. This allows your body to get the energy it needs without spiking your blood sugar levels.
After discovering keto, it changed their lives.
Lilyana’s blood sugar levels have stayed in a safe range, thanks to cutting out high-carb foods. Her mood, energy, and memory have drastically improved since she started her new diet.

My story is not as scary as yours, but same trend, my misdiagnosed type 1 diabetes and then awful nutrition advice once it was properly diagnosed. Dr. Berg and others on KZbin have done so much more for my health success and management than any other Dr collecting payment for doing a crap job on my behalf has. Thank goodness for the internet!

What did they do to help the type 1 diabetes???
@kellycarter9010
@kellycarter9010 2 жыл бұрын
@@vinnytnecniv They taught me how to manage it through diet rather than drugs that don’t work. Recommendations to almost completely eliminate carbs through the Keto diet have made it 100 times easier to keep my blood sugars in a healthy range. I still take insulin but so very little of it and I don’t experience the big highs and lows. It’s also much much easier to know how much insulin to take when you’re not having to guess/calculate how many carbs you’re ingesting (because your’e not ingesting them at all, or only trace amounts) so just a unit or 2 with a meal does the job. If I do start to go a little low its not some catastrophic crash that has me shaking, sweating, etc.

I wish if you sharing my story one day I am 26 years old and since middle school and I suffer from overweight and when I got sick with asthma at the age of 14 I gained a lot of weight because of the asthma medications that I used, especially cortisone I was suffering from sore throat and shortness of breath and could not sleep because of it. Until my weight in the past two years reached 90 kg, I tried all diets and nothing worked for me. My friends used to make fun of me and tell me that I look old. I really looked like a woman in her fifties, and I became severely depressed, nervous, and tight. I was so nervous I hit my face and back against the wall and hurt myself. Sometimes. My face was dripping with blood. I was nervous and angry sometimes for no reason, and I was crying and screaming in pain My memory was weak. I used to study and immediately after studying, I don't remember anything. I lost a college year due to asthma because severe asthma came to me before exams. All the doctors told me there is no cure so I went to the psychiatric clinic. I thought a lot about suicide and death because I hated my life until I found a clip for you on your Arabic channel in which you talk about keto and I did the keto and the result was amazing in one month I got rid of asthma, depression, nervousness and all diseases and my memory became stronger and I became healthy And in 4 months I lost 33 kg and now I graduated and I will do a PhD in law Thank you dear Dr. Berg You saved my life I love you ❤

FOR DR. ERIC BERG: Once upon a time there was a small island on fire. The priest said that he will wait for God to rescue him. The villagers went to the beach and left with three boats. But on every boat there was an empty seat. The priest was waiting at the beach. The first boat just passed in front of him. People said "Come with us. We have an empty seat". "No I will wait for God to rescue me" the priest said. The same happened with the second and the third boat. Eventually the priest died. He went to heaven and then asked God: "God why didn't you rescue me?" And God replied: "My child, I send you three boats." Dr. Berg you don't know how many times God has used you as a means of a miracle. This video is another answer to a prayer from God using you. Thank you for your good heart and your kindness. Greetings from Greece. From now on I will pray for you to find God.

My message to everyone is, learn from Dr Berg and other low carb experts out there. Its not hard to follow but you need to learn and be knowledgable about diet and related issues and imnalances which are minor. They cannot harm with timely management of the defficiencies. The good part is you can still have treats if you are motivated to make them and they are easy by yourself. I have even made birthday cakes for myseld and for my family since I started following the diet 2 years ago. Dr Berg is one of my favourite guides. Thank you so much. With those who rubbish the diet be polite, ignore them. They do not know the miracle healing powers the diet can make to your health.

Magnesium, Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Potassium, fish oil, Vitamin E, alpha lipoic. , b vitamins, Benfotiamine ,....and yes, Keto is great for diabetics, Actually, I'm tired and ready to go home if you get my drift..

Also very relieved that you’re going to home school, that will make it much easier until she is old enough to be able to speak for herself about the complications of her diet. Believe me people actually think they’re doing you a favor when they give a child sweets or disgusting junk food. Of course, they’re not doing anyone any good. So until she’s able to get that across (because it’s so complicated) it’s best for mom and dad to have control of her diet. I pray blessing and success to your wonderful family!!!

My toddler son was recently diagnosed with Type I. He ended up in DKA with a blood sugar of 734. We just thought he had a bug. He was eating and drinking fine. It wasn't affecting his breathing. We didn't think there was a huge problem until he started vomiting. We live in a place where there were no specialists for this condition in children so he had to be flown on a jetplane hours away for the help he needed. Looking back I feel like I should have known that something worse was going on. But all the doctors and nurses we talked to said it is normal to not assume the worst and that er is how this condition is usually discovered in patients this age. Thank god this woman had a nurse friend there to save this baby girl's life!

Health is GREATER than wealth!!! Years ago in a doctors waiting room, a man sitting next to my husband said” I’m a millionaire and would give all my money away to be healthy again. That says it all!! Dr. Berg , you are an amazing, kind, thoughtful human being!! Well wishes to this beautiful little girl. God bless you.

My first thought was prune juice. It's astounding how much we pay for healthcare and you still have to get at least 3 different opinions like we're automobiles. And 3 different opinions from doctors who didn't go to the same place they got their credentials.

This success story is so encouraging. I'm so thankful you passed this on to your subscribers. My husband has Stage 2 Kidney cancer. He was in the hospital for tests to find out why he was losing over 60 lbs (he is tall and was thin before the cancer so losing 60lbs is a huge set back). I'm working so hard to feed him a Keto diet with lots of calories to gain weight. It's a challenge when the dieticians suggest nothing but sugar & starches. I have so many questions for you Dr. Berg, but for now I'll keep watching as many videos as I can to help my husband. WHEN we have a success story I'll send it your way.

Wow. It brought me to tears. My son went through something like that. He couldn't digest at all. Everything just stayed in his tummy. Lors of muscles spasms.They did a Pyloric Stenosis surgery at one month old. After that, Ashma, allergies to everything, eczema, severe adhd, muscle spasms...And at 3 years old his tonsils and adenoids were removed. The allergies symptoms went away. But Ashma and Adhd went up to the roof, he couldn't remember anything of his day at school, so he used to "make up his whole day with fantasies"(B1 deficiency) when i asked him. And his brain...very rigid thoughts...always moving(for dopamine creation).... Oh my God...what this child have been through...When he was 10 i found your channel 😢...the rest is history....still working on it... It isn't easy...Keep on learning every day. I have no background whatever in medicine or human body functions.

Good job for this mom who didn’t give up and followed with her gut and went against the doctor’s opinion. Dr Berg just wanted to let you know, watching your videos, I lost 45 pounds, after understanding how the body works. Also, my mom was diagnosed with COPD and had horrible coughs and no inhalers or medications were helping. I gave her high concentrations of vitamin D, as you recommended and her coughs stopped and she got better. So thanks and the God bless you! : ) Also, sad thing is the vast majority of all doctors, don't know half of what you know and they just prescribe medications to manage the illness symptoms and not try to fix the actual cause.
