Wtf was with 2016 and death, man? She was 22, what could she have been suffering to pass away in her sleep? I know people die, but I get a bit annoyed when people so talented are taken so early. I'm just glad she achieved recognition without having to die to gain it. She deserves all the praise she gets.

I am so sad every time her amvs got recommended to me. 😔 She was one of the few individuals who inspired me to make amvs, and to make art with my hearth in it. The day news got out that she passed away I was so sad. I lost my mentor, even though she never knew me, and I never even spoke to her. I still can not speak after I watch her amvs. I have to fight my tears for minutes.

I heard the news through AnimeUnity's channel just a minute ago and was checking out some of Umika's works as kind of a tribute to a talented editor I suppose. I remember seeing this amv for the first time a few years ago and finding it amazing. Never knew this same Umika was the editor. Checking out her other works, they're all such well edited videos. So sad to see such a talented individual pass on at such an early age :(

Wow the editing is done so well, I didn't even realize you used clips from so many different anime. I thought it was just the Fate series at the beginning, then I saw the list of anime used in the description and I was really shocked. Now to think about it I didn't recognize the black haired girl, so she probably is from one of those anime in the list. But still, Steins:Gate, Shana, Psycho-pass... I've watched all of those anime and I didn't find anything in the video that reminded me of them.
