Johnny always seemed so friendly and fairly happy. Kenny is cheerful these days but I could never say the same about Josh or Peter (RIP).

These guys have to be my age. Everything Kenny said was spot on for me. (Peter was born in 62, so was I.) I even liked Elton John, still have the vinyl from when I was 12 yrs old. Iron on T-shirts, Judas Priest, Kiss, all of it is true for me as well, and really still is. Thank You for sharing these stories and your lives with us all!! Thank You Concreteplanet!!

These two dudes are the reason i got into playing an instrument as well as Peter Steele & Josh Silver so i should just say Type O Negative is the reason i got into playing music lol. When i first heard Type O's first album 'Slow Deep And Hard' that was it for me,i couldn't get enough,then their 2nd album 'Origin Of The Feces' but Johnny Kelly wasn't on those albums he was actually a drum tech for Sal Abruscato who was Type O's original drummer & Johnny came in half way through Bloody Kisses.

@@theroboduck6363 His first LIVE show with the band was in 1994. He was Sal's drum tech and traveled with the band going back to 1991 (I think).
