I love it how Kenny acknowledges a presence hanging over him when he was putting his tunes together. I truly believe Peter was their as guidance. I like to think Peter would be proud of Kenny,Josh and Johnny, doing what they love. Even though Peter was at times filled with self hate I wondered if he knew how much TON had impacted so many people's lives, the music that they created together was just superb. Loved by so many, touched alot of people. Such beautiful boys.

Fun fact: Jason Alexander was literally doing a Woody Allen imitation on the first few Seinfeld episodes. He stopped during filming one day and said "Nobody would ever act like this". Larry David went berserk and yelled at Jason "This happend to ME! and this is EXACTLY how I acted!". Jason said that from that day forward he was doing a Larry David imitation. So when you hear George, you're really hearing Larry David.

Thanks so much for interviewing Kenny. The nostalgia I feel when I hear him talk about Type O is amazing. 6 months before Peter passed away I traveled two and a half hours to see Type O on one of their Halloween shows in 2009, so literally just 6 months before Peter passed away. When the person that I was with and I got out of the car and stood in front of the venue we could hear sound-checking of "Wolf Moon" and Pete pouring himself into the microphone. The hair on my arms stood straight up. Later on that night after the show I met Pete, Kenny and Johnny and I still, to this day, cannot believe Pete is gone. I am truly glad that Johnny and Kenny perform music together and are still in this cohesive and inseparable brotherhood and bond and doing so well! Rust in peace, Pete!

No joke, doll. It's crazy still. The night I finally saw Type I live was BY FAR one of the greatest nights of my life. (2007) Somewhat small venue packed with people (asshole to elbow) and their sound was GREAT! Everything I'd ever hoped for and had waited for. So glad you & I had the chance to see them before they were gone! Rust in peace indeed!

When I REALLY listen to TON I can hear how Josh was sooooo brilliant at orchestrating and producing it. From a fan standpoint it was really hard to catch that humble genius because you had two great front guys: Peter and Kenny. I'm glad Josh is happy in his quite honorable career as an EMT, but I hope someday he comes back to music. He was brilliant!

Remember wanting to play Type O songs on guitar as a teen, but they were tuned soooo low that the strings would be out of tune after about 5 seconds. Honestly, I haven't been able to listen to TON since Peter passed. It just bummed me out too much, in a bad way. I'm really jonesing for some October Rust right now though. Maybe it's time to try again. Also gonna check out Silvertomb!

It's been very rare few gems that pop up in my feed for me to watch that I'm completely excited for till the past 2 months. I love old 80's goth rock to my very core, it's what still keeps me going in my mid 30's. 90's goth rock kicked ass too, I remember buying all of the Type O CDs back then on their release dates. Sometimes I miss that thrilled as shit "holy fuck an album is coming out and I am going to love ALL of it and I gotta get it NOW" feeling. There is not many bands I can say that about other than Type O, Nine Inch Nails, and my current odd addiction of the bunch NSP.

Just came to this after listening to Silvertomb. They encapsulated the Type O feel. That Black Sabbath Doom n' Gloom feel is right where it needs to be.

I've been wondering about Josh. Kenny and Johnny too obviously but Josh stays out of the public eye. I'm glad he's doing good. Amazing people and great music

Good to hear from him! I'm more into the Type O sound, but the new band seems pretty solid. Kennys vocals are very strong, always were. He makes a good frontman.
