I did security for them in Houston, Texas on their October Rust Tour. They used the fake snow(suds) that show too. I was working the stage right next to Peter Steele and got covered with the snow. It is one of my favorite memories working security and they're one of my all-time favorite bands. At the end of the show he ripped the strings off his bass and I got one of them. Still got it. RIP Peter Steele

Then i seen them 3 years later in Louisville Ky and it was a different story entirely, he was so drunk he had to sit and he was slurring and you couldn't understand him, i still remember him saying sorry i'm off the wagon n mumbling something. He eventually sobered up n they played for I kid you not over two hours they played songs from every album even world coming down. and the best part was Pete left the stage so Josh took over and started playing Beethoven and the band joined in. Peter Steele was mentioned by someone on my Instagram. I looked the guy up a year ago, then a few months later, was recommended a video on YT of his “finest moments in interviews”. I loved his personality and was drawn to him immediately, but once again nothing came of it. This is the first song I chose to listen to yesterday, from Type O, and I’m pleased to say that I’m in love with this band. However, while listening to more clips of his interviews, and getting an overall feel for who he was... You can tell he was a gentle soul and it’s such a shame that his life ended so early. My heart feels heavy right now as I think of him, and although their deaths weren’t similar, it just reminds me of the love I have for Chester Bennington. I hope they are at peace now. 13 years today without our Green Man. How we miss him so. The world of music, hell, the world in general, has been worse off without him.

I saw them perform this song live on their World Coming Down tour. It was magical. Peter Steele was one of a kind and there will never be another band like Type O Negative.

Too late for apoligies, uh It's too late It's too late It's too late, 1, 2, 3, 4 So you've come to say you're very sorry "(It) won't happen again - forgive me?" Time will not heal these wounds And I'm bleeding, bleeding (Because of you) It's too late It's too late It's too late It's too late Too late for apoligies, uh Was everything we had just a joke? I've run out of patience, tears and hope Love doesn't conquer all And I'm screaming, screaming (Because of you) It's too late It's too late It's too late It's too late Too late for apoligies, uh In the shadow of the light from a black sun Frigid statue standing icy blue and numb Where are the frost giants I've begged for protection? I'm freezing Cold winter winds that chill my heart with sleet and snow Not from the north come to this glacial abode But from your dimension cryogenic limbo I'm freezing Frozen, frozen, frozen Frozen, frozen, frozen Frozen, frozen, frozen Frozen, frozen, frozen I'm freezing Too late for apoligies, uh It's too late It's too late It's too late It's too late Five, six, seven, eight It's too late (Too late) It's too late (Too late) It's too late (Too late, too late) It's too late (Too late, too late) Too late for apoligies, uh, uh
