The biggest issue with this update is that it's too easy to progress now... The grind every player did before this update kinda gets voided now that noobs can go from grade 5 to Bankai in 3 hours...

im fine with lowered grind because if theyre gonna add perma wiping then a ton of that tedium needed to be toned down, none of it was hard it was just time consuming which gave the illusion of difficulty n got so boring so fast

Its wild saying the games hardcore when theres only 3 parts where you could lose **some** progress, some removed before this update even. The Stage 3s being, rng maze, ping parry test, and a "boss fight" that you'll never beat legit because they dont know how to make fair boss ai. The game's existed for a year nothings being added if we have to do 175 boss raids, wait to rank up, and waiting a hour to retry your stage 3 or get 1-2 grips.

2:05 Public type souls gameplay has never been hard, it was just annoying. All the convoluted systems to keep you in-game weren't for the sake of fun and difficulty, but to get that sweet paycheck from roblox. Every aspect of the prog that made it "hard" could and can still be cheesed. And even if you don't take that into account, the only "difficult" part of the prog overall is the pvp exp. Everything else is just a matter of time, where bad players will take longer to obtain stuff, but in the end they can still get it.

The devs know how flakey the community is. So they just made a big ol update which is really just a masked cover up to hide what they did. Majority of the changes regarding progression does not make the game any less difficult. Removing all the tedious parts of progression such as raid grips (Competing with many ppl who pop bankai on a whim) and the res marathon doesn't make progression difficult, and only makes prog more annoying/tedious to go through

They could’ve just reduced the grip exp required not gonna lie. Although I guess the fun part of type soul always was the later stages of it, when you’re already an elite grade. Type soul was known for how dookie its progression was. Besides that, I don’t think they needed to nerf schrift reqs, nor the shikai try cd.
