I had this monitor for about 3 weeks now and I say it's excellent. The con is that it does have a little backlight bleed on the bottom left of the screen. I'm getting a certain tint to cover that spot.

I bought the Acer predator monitor and it's definitely bang for buck, I have mine paired with a ps5 and MacBook and it works great also no issues with the KVM either. I'd recommend it. Also I bought shortly after watching @Type-C Tech Reviews on the monitor.

Personally just bought it… it’s one of the best “all-in-ones” that’s what’s META about this monitor it has everything on average and is above average over all. That’s my subjective take. My objective take stands the same… expect this monitor is like the “wifey” of girls she’s your “wifey” and has it all… but damn she’s got a nice look from the back but when it comes to the front kinda looks outdated like 2008 style 🥴

Remeber you'll always have 15-20 days to return the monitor test it out make it your life for the first week from there decide on the item. I purcahsed the SAMSUNG 28" Gaming Monitor 144hz 1ms, 4K IPS Monitor, G-Sync, HDR 400, CoreSync, Monitor Adjustable Height, Odyssey G7, G70A (LS28AG700NNXZA) .. and the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710U 27 Inch 4K UHD IPS 144 Hz Computer Gaming Monitor with 1ms GtG, HDR 600, HDRi, HDMI 2.1, 98% P3, Gaming Color Optimizer FreeSync Premium Pro, Built-in Speaker, Remote Control .... I was more impressed and happier with the BenQ as it offers a better all in one experience and meets the markted specs... wheres as thee Samsung only has great asethtic look unfortoynlryt samsung quality control and marketed specs do not meet 'actual' specs Samsung failed several tests.

I have used 3 others monitors trying to replace my 1080p 23.5 inch BenQ monitor. All of them, including 1440p curved and anything have been all returned. I'm now saving up for BenQ 1440p Ultrawide.

Have one EX3210U (32" version of this one) and really enjoy using this monitor. Basically it covers all I need in my daily life (gaming, productivity, editing, movie, etc.) Oh and as you mention, I love the quality it delivers. on the Benq HDR600 with weru good local dimming with VRR on the PS5, on the M28U HDR400 without local dimming

honestly for multi input managing the remote control comes in so clutch. i HATE pressing those shitty buttons on the monitor.

@@WokeConsciousness interestingly enough it does but doesn’t? If you turn it on and do the settings, it will after you reset the monitor, but if you turn it off again, then you’ll have to reset the monitor turn it off. It’s like a bug.

I have to say I always preferred a BenQ monitor over the competitions. Something about their colors/screens. Are you thinking about a review on the BenQ ex270qm? Just recently came out. 1440p, 27in IPS, HDMI 2.1 so consoles could use it, etc.

I bought this monitor. I am able to get HDR when using it with PS5 over HDMI, but when I connect it to PC using display port, then I am not able to enable HDR at 4K. Can you help me with this?

Did you figure this out? I have the same problem. I can have HDR if I connect via HDMI but then it's only 4k@60Hz. If I connect cia DP I get 4K@144Hz but no HDR

my next monitor has to be an oled all the monitors i've had in past with light bleed killing me man i dont see why they couldnt have made this oled its a good size and i would like a widescreen oled what isnt curved because i hate bloody curve screens

I am using this monitor only connected to my PS5 and when I open a game the monitor turns the screen black for a few seconds and then opens the game. When I played on TV that didn't happen so I don't know if it is normal. Also, when I turn off or put the play in sleep mode, the monitor turns the screen black for a few seconds and then the screen appears for a moment and then turns off, it looks strange, someone please help me

Anything but the Sony. It doesn’t pop with color as much as this one or the LG panel. Also I’ve hear reports of it taking a while on black screen when turning HDR on and off. I didn’t experience super long times but some people have and that is annoying.

Is 600 nits sustained or just short period peak? 6:05 but real life backlight bleed is there, maybe you turned on local dimming and with full black screen it turns off display completely which is not true representation of backlight bleed 😳 kzbin.info/www/bejne/oordZqN5f96Zepo Also it is now -30% 630$ (my guess this price drops are for returned products most likely dead pixels or bad backlight bleed...)

Monitor is not good, HDR locks brightness at 100 no matter what making it impossible to use at night unless you want to go blind. And when i play on ps5 even with VRR and AMA 1 on ghosting happens frequently. Refunded in first week.

Warning for those who are planning to buy this monitor for HDR (basic HDR) viewing purposes better stay away with 27” model becoz benq has done some nasty job with this model they have removed local dimming support when u turn ON VRR which is not a same case in 32” version. Even basic HDR 400 monitor does better job. Paying such a premium price no local dimming is a huge let down!! Even cheaper 500$ models does provide u better HDR than this shit.

This is not true, do not mislead people, VRR works with local dimming with the Display HDR function, HDR mode should also be enabled on your device (windows hdr or on PS5 hdr)
