Humans are complex individuals made up of trillions of cells, each with their own structure and function. All the cells work in harmony to carry out all the basic functional necessary for human to survive.
HUMAN are multicellular organism and these cells are specialized with special structures and functions.
For example. -
Cells in the brain are longer to transmit impulses,
Cells in the heart have mitochondria for energy,
Cell in respiratory system for taking up oxygen and exhaling out CO2.
Types of HUMAN Cells, (discussed in this video) are
1. Stem Cells.
2. Blood Cells.
Stem Cells : These are simple looking cells found in nearly all tissue in the body. With the unique ability to develop in the specialized cell types in the body through a process called as CELL DIFFERENTIATION.
They also have a unique ability to self replicate - cell REPLICATION i.e magic cells, for the purpose of cell healing, to regenerate or repair the damaged tissue.
Since, all the human cells are derived from the stem cells, these cells are also called as ancestor cells.
Blood Cells :An immature cell that can develop into all types of blood cells, including white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets. Hematopoietic stem cells are found in the peripheral blood and the bone marrow. Also called blood stem cell.
