솔직히 한국인들은 외국인들에게 너무 친절해서 탈임 실제로 외국 나가면 인종차별을 하는 경우도 있고 한국인들을 과하게 친절하다고 생각해서 아래로 보는 경우도 많음 그래서 나는 오히려 외국인들에게 너무 친절하게 굴필요 없다고 생각함... 그냥 있는 그대로 대해주기만 하면 될거 같음

Yeah but at the same time, we don't always mean it. Cariocas inviting you over for coffee is a complete lie - if you actually show up at their house, they'll be so weirded out. Most paulistanos won't invite you over for a while after you meet - only public places, bars, etc.

YES! Brazilians are so open like that. But I noticed that koreans, in some places are open to meet foreigners. I met people a few times at Thursday party and we partied all night. My friend and his family invited me to dinner at Ganaan duck and paid for everything. Honestly I was amazed how friendly and generous people were and there were other occasions I could list too. This was just 2 week in Korea last year. It's funny, Eric is not a very popular name, but most of the time I hear that name it's a Korean's English name haha.

It is crazy how friendly Koreans are. I met my friends and some locals in interesting ways. A couple of times, when I was on vacation last year in Korea I went to Thursday Party in Hongdae and some locals would talk to me, invite to hang out with their friends for the evening and we ate and drank at different bars or restaurants until 6am. Truly an amazing experience.

제가 영어를 올해 6월부터 시작해서 제대로 한지 2개월정도 되서 아직 초보자인데 딱 좋은 것 같아요 혼자서 한달반에서 두달정도 하다가 도저히 안되겠어서 학원은 부담이되서 회화스터디 언어교환101 다니고 있네요. 여기서 외국인친구들도 1명 진짜 친해져서 같이 밥도 먹고 커피도 가끔씩 먹는데 만날때마다 영어를 쓰니 진짜 도움이 많이 되요. 외국인친구들 더 많이 사귀고 싶어요^^

아니 댓글들에 외국인들 왜이렇게 영어할때는 한글자막 달리는데 왜 영어자막은 안달리냐고하는데 애초에 한국인들이 운영하는 채널이고 국제적인 컨텐츠를 다루는 채널도 아닌데 왜 굳이 영어권사람들 보기 편하라고 영어자막을 넣어야하는건지. 영어자막 넣으면 좋고 고마운 거겠지만 영어자막이 없다고해서 말을 들을건 아니라고 생각합니다. 알아듣고싶으면 공부를 하시든지 한글자막보고 번역기 돌리든지 수고하기 싫으면 그냥 알아듣지마세요. 우리가 왜 그쪽사람들한테 맞춰줘야된다고 생각하는겁니까. 영어권사람들이 영어자막 달린느걸 항상 당연하게 생각하고 없으면 왜없냐고 따지는 일이 너무 많아서 좀 어이가없네요.

저는 미국에서 온 혼혈인데 제가 이해 못 하는 질문은 '혼자 사세요?' 나이 저랑 비슷한 친구들은 결혼 아직 안 했으면 부모님이랑 사는지 알긴하는데 혼자 사냐고 들어볼 때마다 약간 제 집에서 파티 하고싶거나....더 외설적인? 행동을 하고싶다는 느낌이 들어온다...설명 할 수 있는 분 계시나요? 아니면 그냥 혼자 살면 혼자 사는 친구네 집에 노는거 흔하니까요?

그런 의도를 가진 사람들도 있지만, 대부분은 그냥 진짜 혼자 사는지 궁금해서 물어봐요! 형제 자매나 부모님 혹은 친구와 같이 사는지 궁금해서요. 그런 게 왜 궁금하냐고 의아해 하실 수 있는데, 제가 만약 한국에 완벽하게 익숙하지 않은 친구에게 혼자 사는지 물어본다면, 그냥 small talk 를 하기 위해서에요. 만약 제 친구가 혼자 산다면 너무 외롭거나 무섭진 않은지 걱정이 되어서, 혹은 필요한 게 있는지, 밥은 잘 챙겨먹는지 등등이 궁금해서요. 예를 들어 친구가 혼자 산다고 알고 있으면 가끔 저희 가족이 먹는 반찬(김치나 명절음식) 또는 과일을 갖다주기도 하고요.(저도 혼자 살 때 친구들이 먹을 것 뿐 아니라 생활용품도 많이 챙겨줬어요 ㅎㅎ저희 집 앞에 술취한 사람이 와서 무서운 상황 때도 도와주고) 그러니까 제 말은, 그 질문은 질문자가 어떤 사람이냐에 따라 달라지는 것 같아요. 가끔 정말 나쁜 의도를 갖는 경우, 특히 남자가 여자에게 혼자 사냐 물어보면 음흉한 의도를 가지고 있는 경우도 많겠지만, 보통 친구끼리는 도와주고 챙겨주고 싶은 마음이 크니까 물어보는 거라고 생각해요. 혹은 별 뜻 없이 물어보기도 해요. '너는 미국에서 자랐는데 여기 한국에서는 누구랑 사니? 가족들이 다 여기 이사 왔니? 아님 혼자 사니?' 이렇게 그냥 궁금해서요. 마치 직업을 물어보듯이요. 한국은 홈파티 개념이 잘 없고 외부에 유흥시설이 많으니까 파티를 하고 싶은 마음은 전혀 아닐거에요. 음... 하지만 혼자 사는 걸 안다면 편하게 놀 장소가 필요할 때 친구네 집 가서 놀자고 얘기를 꺼낼 수는 있죠. 물어볼 때는 그런 목적을 갖고 물어본 게 아닐지라도요. 그러니까 별로 마음에 안 들거나 가깝지 않은 지인이 혼자 사는지 물어보면 그냥 가족(뭐 사촌이나 이모, 삼촌)과 산다고 대충 말하거나, 룸메이트가 있다고 하는 게 좋을 것 같아요. 그 사람이 나를 아껴주고 신경 써주는 사람이 아니고, 그 문제에 대한 이야기가 길어지는 게 불편하다면요!

Actually, I'm russian and I know English and currently working on my Korean skills, and I'm going to mention that... The Russian girl was really different from me and so I want you to see the thing that we all are people and are different, so our thoughts or actions don't depend on our nationality at all... For example, she said that she gets angry when someone's touching her, I'D NEVER.. Angriness is the last feeling you might feel, I feel it only when someone's doing something bad for me, knowing that I don't like it or even hate it, or maybe his/her action is something kinda violence. It just gave me uncomfortable feelings, I thought that someone could consider all Russians being "rude" (from my opinion).

외국은 개인주의문화라, 프라이버시 파트(결혼 자녀 나이 고향 부모님 인종)를 안묻는다고하지만 그것도 사바사같. 한집사는 룸메 직업이 세일즈라고 들었지만 통신관련인건 9개월 이사갈때 알고.. 또다른 룸메는 투잡이 우버인채, 본직업은 몰랏는데 음식점 요리사라고. 그것도모르고 너요리소질있다 재능있다 등등 모르다봄 대체로 이렇게 실례하는편.. 작별이 기약된 여행에서 짧게 스쳐갈 인연이니 다들 가볍게 즐기다 가는듯, 썸타도 상대방 나이도잘모르고, 인종이나 직업은 당연히. 가끔 호스텔에서도 낮에 봤던 커플과 밤에 봤던 커플이 '남성 또는 여성'만 바뀌는 경우가 허다함. 코로나나 대규모 시위나 국경이 막히고 지역이 막히지않음 대게 짧게2개월 길게 6개월 마지노선으로 보통 이렇게 짧게 스쳐가는 류다보니 알필요도 알이유도. 그에반해서 여행다니며 만나자마자 처음부터 끝까지 호9조사유형은 종종있었던것같. 할머니할아버지까지 묻는 유형. 그런 스탈 친해지기 부담스럽.
