Yes, absolutely. There is a new explainer video on the channel answering this question! In short, migrants would be anyone changing their place of residence. Diaspora, however, are groups defined by their transnational relationships, but the exact definition is actually still debated today.

A good way to think about it is that the term "immigrant" is appropriate when talking about a migrant and their destination country. Likewise, a migrant is an "emigrant" in relation to their place of origin.
