A short, yet detailed video of a humongous topic. Although, I don’t expect animation, it would be great if you could incorporate actual photographs of each example In a PIP format..this would give instantaneous reference to the concept that is being discussed. Thanks.

Sir I have a doubt , as we have learned in the plate tectonics that fold mountains forms due to Continental - Continental convergence and as there is no subduction of the plate there is no volcanic activity which is also the case of himalyan mountains , but as per GC Leong fold mountains are associated with volcanic activity , please clarify this

I have a doubt in this question. Would be great if you tell the answer. Extrusive volcanoes are not found in which kind of mountains? Alaska ,Himalayas,Andies or rocky?
@salimmazid99483 жыл бұрын
By alaska do you mean the aleutian island ranges? If yes then out of the four, only himalayan range has no active volcanoes. However there are volcanoes in the andaman and nicobar islands, which are an extension of arakan yoma range of myanmar, which themselves are an extension of purvanchal hills (great himalayas)
