I'm not the biggest fan of TRY or how some of the weapons in this rendition of the Red Warrior look, but there's no doubt in my mind this MG looks great (though it needs a paintjob more than others). I love the shoulder thrusters; the gimmick with the panels on the chest/skirts and the added torso articulation. If shipping rates wasn't an issue I'd consider getting him. Amazing review!

If u love classic and a gundam with a "thrill " go for amazing red warrior. If you love an op , ace suit and basically a huge amount of Fire power. Go for the Bstrike.

so this review helped me decide to get this at my local hobby store. also i just built this guy and i noticed in your review you forgot to mention that there is a part inculeded on both of the B runners which is a connection peice so you can have the long and short shorts connected too it.

+judai yuki Well for beginners to advance modelers... It doesn't really matter what you start with. The actual build process is the same across SD, HG, MG, RG, PG, etc. The issue is that less experienced people might be intimated by the sheer number of parts and or maybe not have access to high quality tools and potentially ruin like a part or 2 and then feel like the kit is done and toss it in the trash. I guess for reasons like that (though a bit extreme), a lot of people will suggest "beginners" to start off with a bunch of SDs. Overall the BF and BFT kits are not the most complicated. I guess if you want to try something easy, try the Age line of kits. They're really simple and user friendly across the SD, HG, and the MG line of kits from Gundam Age.

If you want to make it platinum metallic, you have to use gloss black paint as the base, overlay it with chrome silver then add clear color of your choice.

Infam0us Gamerx44 I highly doubt you would be able to purchase an MG Exia Dark Matter for $20 and I also highly doubt you would be able to purchase the MG Exia Amazing for $50. It'd be more like $55 for MG Exia Dark Matter and about $75 for MG Exia Amazing. Also, if you paint the MG Exia Dark Matter in the Exia Amazing colors, you won't exactly get the same results. I mean for one, the shield and GN blade is different.

Well if you're a UC lover then plain ol' RX-78 is best. Either ver 2 or 3. But if you Hail Zeon then a Red Comet Zaku ver 2 is good.

+dahlasteffingsamurai Even if you don't paint, if all you do is cut out the parts, and clean them up, 1 step you could do if you're a lazy modeler is just take a can of matte top coat and spray on top to make it look like you painted. LOL

I've heard that statement too that if you get into GunPla at all, and stick with it for a while sooner or later you will have at least some variation of the RX-78-2. I don't like Universal Century series so naturally not the original Gundam. But MG Amazing Red Warrior was just too *amazing* (see what I did there..LOL) to pass up.

Its always a pain in the ass when I can't find a waterslide set for a kit I want; it usually ends up with me settling for usable but pretty crappy chinese reprints. And sure, not everybody uses decals, so why include them at all with that kind of logic. At any rate, it was nice seeing them on kits like the Sazabi Ver Ka, I only wish they continued the trend more than they have.

EricWalks You can always check eBay, Plamoya, Nippon Yasan, Hobby Link Japan, Hobby Seach, or Ami Ami. And if all else fails, you could PM Samuel Decal and request that he prints you some custom water slides.
