Nice run Addam. I hadn't seen a buggy drifting before. 😁👍

I am glad you enjoyed it! The drifting thing was kind of an accident honestly. I was curious if regular slicks would fit on it but did not have a spare pair laying around and did not feel like robbing a set so I used the extra drift wheels to see if it would work. I initially had no plans of drifting it but once they were one there I figured why not, sliding around sounding like fun! I had originally just wanted rubber tires for some on-road running but the drift tires were a ton of fun!

I enjoyed the video. I thought it drifted well. I think you can see why most drift cars are 2wd, The few drift videos I've watched I was surprised how slowly the cars go. In your video near the end it appeared you were going slower and the car drifted very well. I like the ground level shots and onboard shots.
@AddamsPlayground8 ай бұрын
2wd with a gyro is a lot different than 4wd and goofing off. Those 2wd drift racers are really fun to watch. One of these days i will get a proper 2wd drift car but would love to have a dedicated place to run it and we do not have anywhere close I am aware of to run them. Stick a set of drift tires on a TT02 or any 4wd car is a blast and it is a simple, little kid type of enjoyment of just goofing off and enjoying the silliness of it all. I think sticking much closer to the camera and the onboard shots are the way to go next time for sure.

I am glad I had them here, it was a ton of fun and both of us were smiling and laughing the whole time. A drift Kraton.... both wild and dangerous!!! plus they better be well balanced or the "tires" are likely to explode! I am sure it would be pretty hilarious. We used to make our own drift tires from black ABS pipe. I think it was 2 inch schedule 40 black ABS pipe would slide right over a standard touring car wheel and few dots of CA held them in place nicely. Maybe some larger scale pipe would fit the wheels for it! They doo the same for the big drift trikes, they sleave the rubber tires in the bid pipe. Take care Zachary and have a great rest of your week!

@AddamsPlayground8 ай бұрын
The more you use them and the rougher the get the more traction they will have. These are basically hard abs plastic tires. We used to make our own from black ABS pipe and they worked just as good, I think I may still have an set or two off them laying around somewhere. I had to check and see how fast it went since I had the GPS out there with us. Not a speed demon but plenty nippy for its size.
