If you buy it get a compensator for it!It makes it a much better gun!Much much less recoil and more controlable!

Picking up mine tomorrow. Love the design and weight. Most of the videos are very positive. Some of the negative videos appear to show that it seems to be an issue with the ammo you use, jams etc. Is there any recommendation on the brand of ammo? 2 3/4 and 3 are what the gun recommends with a 50 shot break in period. I'm looking for reassurance here, F12 owners are you feeling reliable with your F12? I'll update on my shooting experience later this week but I'm excited!

A few owners have slightly drilled out their gas ports which had burrs in them. There is a review for the typhoon over at palmetto state armory where the owner goes into details what he did to get his F12 running smoothly with a variety of 12ga.

I have the Ca. version of this. Excellent piece of fire power! Fun to shoot, accurate, and an all around well made monster of a gun. However, loading those mags is brutal! The 5 rounders are bad enough but the 10 rounder is almost un-doable without tearing up your fingers. Does anyone know if there is a magazine loader assist for this model? Thanks, and great review, by the way. ;)

I read the manual which was piss poor but showed an parts illustration atleast. To take off the upper guard you use their allen key for the 2 screws on the right side nearest the stock and then the 3 that on the other end that are attaching the 3 sides all but bottom which requires a different key not supplied. Twist off the top after you pop off the guards with a strong tug. Then untwist the ring (everything is counter clockwise) then you can slide off the ring next to it. I had to clean off those pieces because of the manufacturer test firing left oil and carbon. I threw on the choke that was in the box that spins on and li left off the tiny one that was on there. That will atleast get you where you need to be and spin the muzzle end tip back on. Everything should be hand snug and the screws not too tight.

Can you run buck shots and other 12 gauge through this using that muzzle break ? With no chokes ? I assume only need the choke for slugs or if you want tighter grouping

These shotguns are pretty finnicky, there ain't no true rugged reliable mag-fed semi auto 12 gauge that works beside the VEPR-12.
