這棟樓外牆是磁磚~25年中古屋...在18樓外牆沒法處理, 只能從房子裡面補強防水~

That was my life 8 years ago… for me it literally rained through/under my windows on the 9th floor so I had to squeeze out over 130L of water during the entire night. Literally non-stop towel wringing for 12h+…. What a nightmare!

I’m happy to be here and my landlord has been really helpful so far. Thank you so much for your support!!!
Glad to hear that the typhoon is over and that you and Evelyn stayed safe. Too bad about all of the water leaking into your apartment. I hope everything dries up soon. Your video really reminded me of our visit in 2009 with Typhoon Morakot, so I can imagine what you went through!
It’s an easy country to love! Thank you so much for your support!!!

That is terrible what happened to your apartment. Old apartments suffer from a lot of waterproofing issues. Our garage flooded but luckily only about 20cm, so the car was ok. Last time it flooded was morakot. The mud was the only inconvenience to clean up. Pray for all the people that lost much more. Thanks for making the vid to show the rest of the world how resilient the people of Taiwan are. They bounce back very fast after typhoons, earthquakes.
Reminds me of 1989, living in Niasong, 3rd floor of the grey colored apartmentbuilding overlooking the lake. Water came in from the staircase and the balcony during a typhoon. Good luck with cleaning up.
Oh..sorry to see your place was flooded!! Pray and hope fully recovery soon while in the middle of cleaning, you have an safe place to stay.

Big earthquake earlier this year, combined with one of the biggest typhoons... no wonder the water's coming in through those cracks. Wishing you the best, hope it dries up soon.. I know the Taiwanese are efficient and resilient, recovery efforts will start soon.

Beware of electric shock. Don't walk in puddles, especially during a storm. It just takes one power line to touch that water ⚡

Hi Wes,you could've installed a chuteway, where water drops naturally dropping off into it and it's come from cutting half plastic pipes or flat aluminium sheets being bent to U shape allowing dropped water flow down to your kitchen sink or bathroom bathtub. Hope you've already modified for temporarily resolving.😊😊

Take care! The typhoon is almost over! You have water leaking from SO MANY places!!!! After the rain stops you might want the landlord to do so repairs!
Kind of sounds romantic actually, however, I had some videos to edit so power was nice to have 🤣

Wow, a very informative video! I never thought about how bad it could be in an apartment in a high rise. The leaks in the floor are obviously due to seepage from floors above, exiting downwards through the walls and elsewhere. Nothing you can do about that. As one person noted, be glad your electricity did not go out! You got almost 60 inches of rain in three days, more than the last two typhoons combined! You have a very positive mental attitude. Good luck and best wishes!
I live in Houston where we just had our own hurricane. I can't believe you got flooded like that. Be thankful you didn't lose power. Many in our area lost power for many days after our storm. We were out for 36 hours so not too bad.

10:18 bro, you need to put on the tube caps on those things, so that it spreads out nice and evenly.
You can buy silicon at a nearby hardware store to fill the water leakage, but it needs ventilation, because the plastic smell is relatively heavy, but it will not leak after use.😊
