Thank you for this great review. I went to my local gun store to put night sights on my pistol and this shotgun caught my eye. This review really helped me on my decision to purchase it in the future, it will be my first shotgun.

I love my X-12! Caught it on a one day sale, last Thanksgiving, from PSA for $300. Couldn't be happier with her performance! You're right, also, the recoil isn't NEAR as bad as you think it'll be, for how light the gun is!

I have one and it shoots great, it hasn't jammed on me so far with heavy loads, but per the owners manual - if you are going to run lighter ammo you need to flip the gas block to the light load setting. You reverse the gas block if you are going to shoot loads over 1200 fps.

Happy with mine other than the fact that the awkward size holes on the front of the gun couldn’t fit my picatinny rails for a laser and light.

Typhoon Defense has bounced back with new management. The “poor customer service” at the time this video was posted was due to the death of the owner of the distributor in Kansas. The company has bounced back and the new management team who has picked up the ball with Typhoon Defense has outstanding customer service and offer many, many services to include the unlikely event a Typhoon owner needs any warranty work.

Just bought one! Excited to shoot. Problem is I bought from a pawn shop brand new. They threw away box extra mags and choke tunes as well as owners manual. So now what do I do?

Mine will run 2 3/4 slugs or 00 buck perfectly. It will not run 3inch or any lower recoil shells at all.

It will after you run the breaknin period. The owners manual says 100 rounds of high brass rounds. But it took me about 200 rounds. Plus, you can also lock the bolt back and store it for abpit 30 days. Itll speed up the breaknin period. And i can run 2-3/4 target loads all day now.
