Even though i am a subscriber, the video was not recommended. Had to check the channel to find the video. Whatever the utube gods are upto… Anyway enjoyed the video. Half hour went fast. Also enjoy following you on instagram. Will make it to buymeacoffee and donate. A worthwhile cause as i see it.

Thank you so much, your support is very much appreciated. Do you have all notifications active? I think only being subscribed does not necessarily make youtube suggest a new video.

The most beautiful channels for bicycle trips, beautiful photography, adding food to the videos, the problems you face on the trip, and people’s feelings and talking to them. Greetings to you from Saudi Arabia and we hope to see you here

I know Turkey quite well as, in my youngest time, I was a toutistic tour leader, then I traveled there on my own. Now that I am a grandma, it's a HUGE pleasure for me to follow you on the Türkish road. You rock guys and I love it.

That's the first time in traveling videos that I've seen someone using translation technology. I've wondered why more people don't use it. It looks very helpful.
@AmazingWorldBikeTour Жыл бұрын
We use it more and more. Sometimes those apps work very well, but only if people speak without a strong accent. We feel like many travel videos either focus on landscapes rather than interactions, which is much easier to do. Big and professional channels on the other hand often have local guides or translators, so they don't need this kind of solutions.

After avoiding hills all the way to Türkiye I was thinking it was going to be a shock, but at least you had "warmed up" through Europe. Then the illness and the forced break, and straight into the big hills and heat. Ah well, training for Asia - slowly catching up to the current vids - cheers for sharing.

Yes, it is unfortunate. Climate change plus overuse of resources. The future looks grim for many people in these areas.

Very cool video. The dead pool was sad. Is the area changing because of drought?
@AmazingWorldBikeTour Жыл бұрын
Yes. Unfortunately Lake Burdur and the area around it is suffering from overuse and an ongoing drought.

@AmazingWorldBikeTour Жыл бұрын
When we left Hamburg I was about 100 kgs pure fat. When we reached Yerevan Armenia I was down to something like 92. After 8 months of being fed by Arevs fad and his wife, editing and not moving last winter I was back to 97ish. Now after another 4 months of cycling including the Pamir Highway I am probably down to 90 or below, but there is no scale around. Glad you enjoy our videos. We plan to finish the last bit of the Pamir and work on the next video soon!

I don't get it. You have a campervan to travel in now.... but you are still cycling fully-loaded? Where did the van come in? And are you giving up the bicycle touring life to travel by motor car now? A great shame, if you are.
@AmazingWorldBikeTour Жыл бұрын
Haha, no, of course not 😅 We were hosted in Denizli through the warmshowers.org platform. We arrived a day earlier than expected, so he hosted us in his camper van. We do not have any plans to abandon our bicycles and will keep them rolling as long as our budget lasts!
