When he raps that kpop category is not enough for him, he means that he himself is much bigger and better than the whole kpop thing. The way western world looks at the label called ‘kpop’ is not usually pleasant, so he doesn’t want to be associated with it. The thing that I love about every single person in BTS is how much media they give us. These guys are so hard working. They have their own Shows. They video themselves doing damn near everything. They put out something new every week. The more that you watch them, the more you love them. You can find so much content about them, even from before they had their debut. Agust D is soooooo good! LOVED your reaction! Definitely keen to watch more. I LOOOOVE "Outro: Tear" by the rapline in BTS (RM, Suga & j-hope)! I especially love the delivery in the live performance at the Wembley concert in London. But you're gonna love "Joke" by RM - it's fast and he keeps switching it up. You'll see. The lyrics are fire, but difficult to understand completely without additional info, but you'll still be able to pick up on the basics (just know, that especially when it comes to RM almost every line has double or tripple entendres, metaphors, cultural references etc.- that's why I always look up the lyrics at doolset afterwards, to get some background info).

If you're looking for other songs by him I would suggest 'Shadow'. If you want to get into the rappers of BTS, then I would suggest 'Ddang' or 'Ugh'. Hey! Just found your channel today. Loving the reactions. He has another music video from this mixtape called “give it to me” that from a cinematography perspective is a continuation of this one. Hope you check it out. You should also check out “joke” and “do you” by RM also of BTS. All of the members have solo projects and collaborations in a really wide range of musical styles. The rappers especially were given a hard time when they joined the group, because a lot of the attitude of the underground hip-hop community was that they were betraying their roots by going into an idol group. So you’ll see in some of their earlier solo mixtapes and even in the Cypher series and a few other songs from BTS where they clap back at the haters and basically tell them to get their own lives. Suga/Agust D, RM, and J-Hope are all top tier rappers (Agust D is my fav for a number of reasons, but I could listen to RM and J-Hope for hours and hours and hours and be very happy). Some top favs that you might check out - Cyphers 1-4 (and the live performances are the best, but you should watch the lyrics so you can see the words), BTS rap line (all 3): Ugh! Ddaeng, (for Ugh! and Ddaeng, you'll want to watch the explanation videos to understand at least some of the word play), Outro: Tear (the most beautiful rap song ever and make sure you do the live Wembly performance), Agust D's The Last (intense lyrics and part of why Agust D is my fav rapper in the world), 724148 (for the beats), What do you think?, Strange (ft RM), Suga's Interlude:Shadow, Seesaw, First Love (not sure you will like this one but I love it and it is a good example of his producing skills IMO), RM's Joke, Do You, Change (Collab with Wale), J-Hope's 1Verse, Daydream, Outro:Ego. I could go on and on. I'm sure I'm missing some of my favs.

Agust D is his solo stage name while in Bts, his stage name is Suga. Agust D refers to Suga spelled backwards and the D t refers to Daegu Town which is where he's from in Korea so when he says "Im from the d" he's shouting out is hometown

I 100% agree with everything you said about how Americans need to give respect to artists from other countries the way American artists get respected worldwide. It needs to be both ways. I’m American and get so frustrated with how many people I know that refuse to listen to anything that isn’t English. As for BTS, they are all so talented that it’s mind blowing. Suga blows me away in this song, Cypher pt 2, and so many other songs RM is an absolute beast in Joke, Ddaeng, the cyphers, and many more. J Hope has the most fun and melodic flow. And he’s so versatile! Jin killed me in Abyss. And everyone knows he’s iconic in epiphany. V’s range will blow your mind in Stigma. And his performance of Singularity is top-tier. Just insane. Jimin’s mind boggling high notes in Let me Know, Your Eyes Tell, and many more. His vibrato at the Tiny Desk concert. And his performance of serendipity is sooo good. Jungkook is a god-tier singer. There is not a fault to be found. He’s always perfect. He particularly owned The Truth Untold live. And that’s just their vocals. Their dancing is mind blowing too. Their production and lyricism is 🤯. The wordplay in Ddaeng. Like… who is that smart? If you want to really see them show off their combined talents, I recommend Black Swan live at The Tonight Show, Dionysus live, and On: Kinetic Manifesto Film (either the original or the Tonight Show Grand Central performance). They are just all so undeniably talented.

Soo.. yeah Suga/AgustD has a reputation for being a savage rapper. We love him so much but don’t piss him off. The rap line of BTS (all of BTs) took a lot of hate coming up. They called out Suga and RM a lot for years for selling out and not being real rappers but being girls who wear makeup… this is one of his retorts to those people. He is flexing his skills that yes they are “lucky he’s a kpop idol” or he’d be eating them up 24-7. The 4 cyphers they did are just as much fire as this and what I suggest you do next, no MVs but there are lyric videos that have the translations, and they start off good with Cypher 1 to fire on Cypher 2, killer in Cypher 3, and I just listen to Cypher 4 alot it’s sooo good, but it helps to do the, in order to experience their growth as rappers. There is a sequel to this MV “Give It To Me” it’s like 2 mins. If you can deal with reading captions and also a bit of research (for BTs all the top songs that need it have a break down or explanation video to explain the references and we fans can advise you when you’ll need one) kpop has so much to offer talent wise. BTS is top notch but many equally talented artists and rappers. This song doesn’t need one, the last song does because the cultural references are crazy.

So like Suga one of my favorites from his D-2 mixtape is "What do you think?". RM I recommend Joke and Do you for starters. I'll recommend those two first because it seems you like a little more punch. Jhope is a vibe. One of my favorites is Hangsang and P.O.P. but I do recommend you check our rapline songs.

You are right, some ppl dont now about amazing music just bcs they dont bother to check foreign language music. I must say, Korean language is very beautiful and pleasing to the ear even if you do not know the words. The lyrics of BTS are the best. You will never be disappointed. They also talking about a lot of different issues in their songs and rarely make love songs that would be expected from the boy group. They are more like a team of very skilled producers, song writers, dancers, singers and performers rather than a boyband. In case you didn't know, he is actually a BTS member who doesn't get angry towards the BTS members aka he is the softest member (not lying) and the eldest amongst the BTS rap line. but this guy when he performs he literally gives his everything. We stan a hardworking guys. BTS is 7 member group debuted on June 13, 2013 with their hip-hop album 2 Cool 4 Skool. They are known of writing their lyrics, awesome discography and chereography. I loved what you had to say about it being a 2 way street. Language should never be a barrier with music. Music is a universal language. Agust D has a lot of awesome songs.. but a few of the top of my head.. Daechwita, The Last, and First Love. All of those are excellent songs. There are 2 other rappers in BTS, RM and J-Hope. Some one probably already recommended it, but another song he has a music video for is Interlude: Shadow. This song is on the Map of the Soul 7album by BTS, but it is a solo song. So as other ARMYs may have already told you lol that within the group of BTS there is a vocal line (made up of the 4 members that sing) and the rap line (the other 3 members that rap) Suga (Agust D), RM and J-Hope. Both Suga and RM were both underground rappers before they joined the group and J-Hope learned how to rap once he joined BTS. All 3 rappers have released solo mix tapes along with a rap line series of CYPERS (pt.1-4). I would ABSOLUTELY 100% recommend checking out some of those songs such as UGH, DDANG, Outro: TEAR, JOKE, PERSONA, (RM) DO YOU, (JHope) BOY MEETS EVIL, AIRPLANE, DAYDREAM, (Suga) SHADOW, TONY MONTANA... yees! I always recommend these videos! His latest video BTS vs Billboard is also pretty informative if you ask me... about music industry and the way they look at BTS. But that is for days when you are willing to get in the rabbit hole :) The kpop videos are a MUST though!

2 out of 3 rappers in BTS were underground prior to joining BTS because BTS was supposed to be rap group, and the other one was a street dancer so they really know about the hiphop culture. They even gave shoutouts to OG rappers, old school and new school in their song about hip hop called Hip-Hop Phile. they paid homage to nas, kendrick, biggie, pac etc
