Same, I've had the action 3 for almost 2 years, no issues ever, besides the occasional overheat in really really hot summer sun. But if you carry bait in a cooler pop it in there for 5 mins and your good to go again. Getting the osmo action 4 next, and now they are even cheaper than the 3's when I bought one!

Dude your videos are always so good. I think I’ve watched every single one. Hard to find the big fish out in Houston and you constantly, constantly find success. That last fish was huge. I’m getting into throwing swim baits because I’m tired of the 2lbs. Had lots of succes a while back on black and blue jigs with matching trailer like you did by different culverts. Watching those monsters swim off in inches of water was awesome! Their shoulders still peeked above the water for a while 🤣
@TyPigPatrol27 күн бұрын
Thank you so much man…. I GRIND tho, I zero some days, some of these videos take 3-5 days to make. It’s never as easy as it looks, as I’m sure you know. What swimbaits have you started throwing??
@taranmehta635626 күн бұрын
@ Ty. You don’t understand how much it means to me that you replied. I’m a huge fan of your work, I love to follow the people you have worked with ie Henry - have also watched all of Liam’s old fishing videos with you. That’s very reassuring 😅 honestly some days it sucks putting in all that work but I bet it pays off so much for a big bass. I haven’t caught a fat one in a minute hence I want to throw the bigger baits. I have literally watched every single bass fishing video you have posted. I’m pretty sure all the gar and Houston bayou videos. As for swim baits I haven’t thrown any yet - feel I should get a dedicated setup so I don’t mess with the internal gears etc. thinking heavy duty kapstan 🧐. Love the way you talk of kastking btw. Thinking and have looked at the soft swim baits but also like the wide glides - they cost a lot 😅. You seem to kill with the chop style though. Also now that I am editing. You seem to find ponds that you can sight fish or see them bite, meanwhile I fish chocolate milk ponds. Is it all trial and error? I’m trying to put in more work in the ground as I have spent hours on hours on satellite maps. I have caught some cool looking bass aswell in Houston, if I ever meet you or have the time I would love to show you - I have caught a fully, and I mean fully black largemouth. I have caught one that was spotted and almost looked like a cow. I also broke my pb on the same fish 2 weeks apart (that’s why we release them) same mark on the gill plate and everything, she was on the other side of the pond and got heavier in just 2ish weeks. My apologies for the long message. I am truly grateful to be a fan of you and your friends Ty. You putting your knowledge and footage out there for free sums up you as a fisherman. I have to say I definitely aspire to be like you, the way you are so respectful, ethical, could go on - and that’s just what I can tell from videos, I’m sure you are 10000% more amazing in person. I’m going to be out on the brazos chasing those big Dino’s - put in lots of hours of research, now some experience. Thank you Ty you absolute legend 🙌

Once I was cruising the shoreline in my 12 ft aluminum. I sighted a huge bass in about 3ft of water, where the shore line literally dropped straight down... but as I saw it, it saw me and spooked out. So I went up the shore about 50 ft. Beached my boat and quietly / slowly snuck back down. {I actually did this often, as boats often just get in your way and spook fish}. As I got back to the spot, I could see the fish had too. Made one cast with a swimbait out behind it. Let it sink, then hopped it back up into her spot.... Bam ! 14 lb 6 oz :) Wish it were easier to post photos on KZbin :) Great video Ty :) Nice fish !
