Looks like we may need to do a video on the difference between an alligator, a crocodile, a turtle (better include snapper vs. alligator snapper), and maybe even a big fish. 1st one was definitely a yellow bass. Light colored from the stained water, but hints of yellow and with the super-pronounced lines with a broken lateral line further back and even with the anal fin. When you hook something that big and haven't seen it yet, you start thinking it's either an alligator gar or an alligator.

@ I just went back to good ol tennis shoes. Regardless of how wet and muddy I get them. They keep you from slipping and busting your butt! I had to learn the hard way after a guide in south Louisiana tried to help me out with his advice. Lol The following summer I slipped on a rock and busted the back of my head open. My boss broke his ankle working in his yard in Crocs.
