Not to shame anyone, but it’s crazy that more Black Women *purchase* hair in this texture and style as opposed to realizing that their own natural hair is capable of the same things w proper care and maintenance. You’ve been an inspiration among few for so long, Tyra. Thank you. Genuinely pray Black Women learn to love themselves in their natural element - bc we’ve never, NEVER been incapable of growing healthy hair; long or short. Thank you for being proof.

Looooove your spray bottle ❤ on God, behind all the influencer culture and obsessive consumerism right next to it, recycling is important and far more practical. Who need a mist bottle when you can reuse the ones for detergent? Brilliant :)

I tried this technique for a second time. This time I used a heat shield leave in cream instead of a mousse. (Wasn't feeling my particular mousse product) DAAAANG! TECHNIQUE IS TOPS with this new cream. Thank you ❤

Have you clarified your hair? If you use heavy oil, butters and gels, it hard to use soft hold products like mousse. But I’m promising you that if clarify and your ends are trimmed a mousse that for for Afro textured hair will work so well for twists or rod.
