Excellent. I love that you had a partnership with the Magus. Brilliant. A fantastic story can lose a lot of its character & charm depending on how it is read and even the sound of the readers voice. (Game of Thrones was a let down for me because of this) But you Lord Baldermort have been fashioned for this exact purpose. No one better.

It’s bold but i think tyranid/gsc are the best “villians” in 40k. Tyranids can’t talk so at some point it’s just a bug hunt, but then you throw in the gsc and everything is up for grabs.

Great stuff, brother B. I know they’re not as popular as some, but as a recent convert to the GSC, (blessed be the Four-Armed Emperor,) I’d love for you to write more Cult stories. Given your talent for characterization, I feel you’d humanize their various specialist bioforms in charming ways. You certainly had me rooting for your Kelermorph, though I was already pretty partial. We just don’t hear many stories from their perspective, and I think it could be great fun to explore.

As always the servo-skull tells the best story with facts about life in the imperial guard. A white sheild basically cannon fodder in a tough universe the warhammer40k universe and Baldermort has entertaining you tube videos coming out of his ears that's if a servo-skull had ears ! @@HiveFleetOni The Tyranids (based on how they have been retconned) wouldn’t need such advanced infiltration. Their MO is attacking with waves of overwhelming force then consuming the whole biosphere. Inbreeding alien cults taking over a planet from the inside makes no sense for such a race.

It sounds perfectly sensible for a race that invades planets en massse to have means of reducing the resistance those planets can offer. Genestealer cults also propagate best in dense population centres, and the resulting beacons tag particular worlds and systems for the fleets as items of interest. Again, seems sensible,?
