Unleash the spores!! It was really interesting when you took the red and blue, and desatured it with black and white ink. But then brought it back, to end with a really vibrant, but still a bit of grim and dark model.

What a transformation! One thing I really dig is how the tail and the horn bring this guy closer in appearance to a hive tyrant. It feels like it could morph itself into a new one to lead a swarm of its own, kinda like a xenomorph praetorian mutating into a queen. And the magenta ink? *chef's kiss* Perfection.

Unleash the spores! Heh... why not? Spore go boom! hehe Had a game once long ago where a poison spore missed the marines it was aimed at, and ended up drifting over a pond. The marines shot it, just to be safe. So I tore a paper into the vague shape of a fish, drew an "X" on the eye, and placed it floating in the pond. I still laugh at that to this day. So did others at the shop, but my opponent seemed less amused - he's a good guy, just a bit serious.

I think the Tyranid should be named something like: The Carmine Stalker, wich applies to the color scheme and it helps with the creeping in the shadows. Unleash the spores!

I kinda imagined "The Splitter" could be a fun name given it's new-found ability to "split" it's shield in two for ease of use, as well as the many ways it can "split" someone open with it's arsenal! Although, giving it a super mundane name like "Humphrey" would be hilarious. Imagine telling your local PDF that Humphrey just destroyed a leman russ outside.

Unleash the spores! I bought some of the 1994 metal tyranid warriors as they were going out of production (actually, the great GW sell-off...the topped producing them way before that!) They were tiny, and 'flat' (but standing upright!) I have one of the old-style biovores, and hopefully a couple more on the way!...Old Tyranid models are the worse! and as we can see in your video, also the best! (The Tyrant Guard model you have is supposed to be generated because the Norn Queen devoured a Space Marine: that's why they have a fused chest: and the shield shoots out spores of some kind! (The biovores are due to ingesting Orks...at least according to the fluff from the time.

I think it's possible the locals might call it The Flesh Harvester, possibly due to the Tyranid rotating through villages like they were crops. Whatever you choose, adding a little local lore is always fun. Unleash the spores!

The Sunbreaker Marooned on the hellish planet of Zircon VI, which formerly served as the home of a battle-hardened Imperial Guard regiment prior to its invasion by Hive Fleet Behemoth, the Sunbreaker is an abandoned and mutated Tyranid Hive Guard that gestated new physical developments due to Zircon's extreme solar radiation levels. It is named such because it constantly stalks the planet's desolate surface for prey, the remainder of Zircon's population, its carapace taking the blood orange color of the angry sun above it even in its unbearable heat.

4th ed was the best edition of tyranids. all the other books have been garbage by comparison. It captured them the best. I want a lictor kill team. Like three or four of the little turds running around causing havoc. I would call this creature the Lashgryn or lashman. The local settlement would hear stories of a creature that is man like, but the size of an ogryn. that lurks in the shadows. It lashes it whips at you and pulls you into the darkness. UNleash the Spores! and unleash "The Feasting Aegis!" (or Aegis of the Feast....) We JUST got into Warhammer about 10 months ago, and our first big family project was a big 3rd Edition Tyranid Lot... stripping/disassembly/reassembly (with new bits in some cases). Those Red Terrors take a namesake amount of pinning heheh. My personal favourite is an "Old One Eye" that uses a re-posed old head/torso/abdomen, with new Claws/legs/tail. Green stuff putty has been our friend...

Well... Since u based him Orange and Blue.. go with Gravitarius Gator-Jaw... Because, u know.. Orange and Blue is the Univ. of Florida Gators color scheme.. Good work by the way.. I remember when that model came out.. And really the only models the had for Rogue Trader, if memory serves correct was a smattering of Genestealers (whose class could penetrate a Leman Russ Battle Tank).. and I think the old Chicken-Walker Warriors with the throat-goozle..

Nice video i hope these Tyranids needs fixed numbers and stuff they are too hard right now ._.' and with 2K Points i cant play a Death Guard army against those Tyranids because always i play against my friend he end up having big beasts on field with i think 20% more units on the field then i have everytime i play against him i end up losing the game because of the big beasts he have oh and he plays Kraken and Kronos in one ? i dont know that works. my Army is good and cant be better i guess how can i do better i cant find a way for that !

I think a good name for this guy would be The Abomination of _____ where the blank is whatever name you have for the place it is abominating. Similar to the Doom of Malan'tai. Otherwise maybe "Dread of the Ancients", since it has probably been threatening the planet for a while. In any case, UNLEASH THE SPORES

You could either go with something cool like "The Crepuscular Devil" (crepuscular meaning it's active at dusk/dawn which would take advantage of its colors) or something like "Jerry". I enjoy both... Unleash the Spores!
