I kinda like these videos, gives a little insight on what to do or expect. Would love a datacard overlay of the models you´re talking about so you can visualise it better. And i´ve a question regarding Carnifexes, maybe someone can tell me. Do Carnifexes get the Spinebank AND Bio plasma on top of their 2 primary weapon options? So basically 4 different weapon profils, per Carnifex?

The problem with this codex is lack of melee punch. Tyranids should be at the top of the close combat scale, but most of the times we see low st and ap. Honestly, you shouldn't think about a Tyrannofex as the best unit for Tyranids...you should think about a Hive Tyrant...😢😅

I'm really not a fan on what they've done with the Tyrant Guard with the crushing claws in the codex. 2 attacks on 4+...

I like to use my tyrant and 6 guard in my harvester list. When they get +1 str and +1 attack they are quite nasty.

Plus being able to endlessly bring back multiple guard a turn is funny to see the look on the opponents face.

I honestly consider the heavy venom cannon a better infantry killer. Anything from heavy to light infantry kind of bow down to that bad boy.

I tend to provide the Hive Tyrant with the enhancement Adaptive Biology to keep him alive which is 25 pts rather than 95 for the guard and just be coy for the first 3 turns how you play him. More of a unit buffing in those first 3 turns and then when the enemy army has been whittled down then be a bit more aggressive.

I like this option as I hate the tyrant guard models and won't dump cash into them

You should not be firing your heavy venom cannon into tanks. it is for killing elite infanty and any other 3 wound models.
