*my answer to the qoute of the day:* I would create Gas type: *Gas type:* We have water (liquid), we have ice (solid), so why not gas? Gas would be super effective against: *water, ice, steel, rock.* (liquid already defeats solid) Weak against: *Fire, flying and ghost.* (flying and ghost float in everything) Completely immune to: Normal and figthing (but can be hit if a pokemon has the scrappy ability) maybe attacks like selfdestruct and clear smog might be changed to a gas type move. I might also add moves like Methane Pressure and Hydrogen Bomb. The koffing line might also be poison/gas type. The Gastly line loses poison type and will get gas type instead :-)

A Light type, where it is super effective against dark but is also weak to dark. It could be SE against ghost, dark, and possibly ice. It could be associated with Fairy, maybe have an ability for fairy types, and it would heal when attacked by light attacks, or a Sunny Day - like weather move that's boosts the power of Light/Fairy attacks.

You know what would be a cool type? Shadow Type, like something that is similar to Pokemon Colosseum's Shadow Pokemon. Shadow Type Pokemon could be basic designs with a shadowy aura around them. The typing could be only weak against Fairy and Shadow moves could be normally effective against everything, BUT Shadow Types would always have to have a secondary typing for the sake of balance. So you would always have something that's a neutrally effective STAB, but you'd have an extra weakness no matter what the sub-type was. Or, maybe like in Colosseum, any single-type Pokemon could just gain the aura and become a Shadow Type through some event where they just gain one random Shadow Type move. IDK, I think the concept could be pretty interesting.
