Klingons! This piece is an exploration of the different themes used for Klingons in Star Trek. It turned out a lot longer than I expected, but I wanted to include everything I could. Unlike the other main series Suites, which are chronological, this suite is more a general suite of all the themes in no particular order. Featured are Klingon themes from Into Darkness, The Motion Picture, The Search for Spock, The Final Frontier, The Undiscovered Country, Enterprise, The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. I do wish there had been some available Voyager music, perhaps from "Barge of the Dead," but TNG-era Klingons are well represented. I tried out some TOS music, but there never really was a distinct theme, so instead I used the fight music from DS9's "Trials and Tribble-ations." Hopefully some of the music isn't too redundant, seeing as some of these themes were already featured in my other suites (like the Star Trek VI Klingon theme)...but I tried to use different cues than the ones I selected in those.
It's hard to pick a favorite Klingon theme, but it's probably a tossup between The Undiscovered Country and the classic Jerry Goldsmith theme for me. What's your favorite Klingon theme? What other themed suites would you like to see?

I love the Klingon Megasuite the best, then the Vulcan one. The Klingon one has alot of high drama and unusual sounds, the Vulcan one sublime and eerie at times. Reminds me of the various sequences of series and movies.

Star Trek III still sounds very Klingon, but it's actually quite a departure from the Klingon theme from TMP (which is the one used in most subsequent films and TV shows)

For starting out as a thinly veiled excuse villain stand-in for the Soviets, the Klingons have evolved into a distinct culture that, while I do not agree completely with, I can understand their reasoning and roll with it. You want something done? Make the other person's honor involved. Show no weakness by asking for help, instead offer a share of the glory in the potential victory.
