Gamer Sal I played the living hell out of this game, we'd alternate possession of the same cartridge for weeks at a time and beat each other's best times. I still remember the music very clearly

if u liked this then id recommend wipeoout 2097 on ps, its like this but with better graphics, better tracks, better music but with weapons/power ups! it was my introductory game to the ps,

theface60 F-Zero and games like Wipeout don't really have that much in common. Wipeout is more like a kart racer, since you pick up powers to use to hinder opponents or help yourself. Whereas F-Zero is closer to what a simulation racing game set in the future would be. Personally I prefer combat racing games, like Road Rash or my beloved Rock 'n' Roll Racing.

Wow, those batteries not included scum of the earth really have it out for the player. What kind of inept race puts cars in it that aren't actually racing? They're just there to screw you over. Reminds me of what people do in GTAO races when they're losing. Glad by F-Zero GX at least they did away with that and resigned themselves to just making a hard as balls futuristic racing game.
