An absolute turkey in every way, sacrificed key gameplay for key graphics, graphics ended up abysmal. Put the game on a CD based console, only had one song per world. Zero key strengths, zero passion, OH MY BUG!

I think I got to the 2nd world maybe ONCE. And if I remember correctly, this was one of those games where if you run out of continues it's back to the start of the game for you.

Missed a checkpoint at 22:19 right before you died. I think I played a demo of this game on a game kiosk back in the 90s. The 2 and a half D concept clearly has its issues, but the game seems surprisingly creative in terms of introducing new enemies and stage elements consistently. It made me curious to give it a try. Still, the question is, why the heck was this generic looking game with no name recognition representing early platformers on the Saturn instead of a new Sonic game? One of many things Sega fumbled after their Genesis glory days.

This kind of platforming is only a neat idea in theory. It performs horrendously in execution. The bug’s voice sounds a lot like the annoying Bubsy from Bubsy 3D. The music isn’t any better. And that one wall, how did you fall through that! The cherry on top of all the terribleness in this game has got to be the gameover screen. That was rude. This game in a whole was just wretched.
