Fun fact, I had most of these games as a kid; maybe that's why I don't rage while playing Souls games. Hardest 'boss' I ever encountered was the small gap at the top of the screen in _Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles_ on NES. I had _X-Men_ and _Cool Spot_ on Genesis and _Desert Strike_ on SNES.

Desert Strike was unique but fuck ME it was a hard game. I don't think anyone has ever completed it not as kids anyway, just some nerd with save states.
