The Bontrager may be the most pricey, but it at least comes with it's own pump. While the rest require an additional pump, which means additional cost. So it may balance-out.

If you are going to convert to tubeless, you're not a newbie, so very likely you already own a pump, don't you?

I ve got the Swhwalbe booster and have an issue with it which the others may have as well! It will only fit to a fully threaded presta valve. My 2020 Mavic UST valves will need some adaptor made up to use the booster.

I got worried when you started findings with " we loved the bontrager" (sorry if not spelled correctly) because the schwalbe looked to be head and shoulders above at a fraction of the cost.

Did you removed the valve core? Because the Tire Booster easily set up 29x2.4 inch mountainbike tires. Just made me wonder.

I think with how slow it was that no would be the answer. I found (using a compressor for goodness sake) that without the core removed I didn't have a chance (8Bar constant flow). Removed core and bang. On without even a hesitation.

@@Th3Gr33k I got 650b × 47 mm tyres from WTB my Topeak Joe Blow Booster pump is USELESS at seating the tyres! 14 attempts and still not seating tyres, yes the valve core was removed. Seems the air is released too slowly into the tyre.

@@joecondron2131 That sucks. I got myself a second hand compressor. Haven't used it yet but I used one similar before and it went up easily. I'll not bother with one of these. Thanks for the reply!

See, I (many, many years ago) started my working life with a couple of shifts in a tyre garage. They used tyre soap, but I've never seen anyone one these types of video do the same...which is odd cos I figured it would do the same!!

Why not give the pumps a REAL challenge! Try seating a 650b 47mm tyre from WTB on its rim after removal like I tried to do FOURTEEN times this July before admitting defeat, yes the valve core was removed. Pump is a Tooeak Joe Blow Booster. Took the wheel and tyre to local.bike shop for the guys to seat the tyre.. Got my 1st tubeless bike now a Whyte Glencoe, frightened to change the tyres now in case I cant seat onto the rims!

I used to take it to a fuel station and I can seat it in no time...

My advice to all is 1)remove valve core 2) lube the heck out the bead surfaces. Window cleaner, silicone, automotive tire shine, soapy spray, whatever you have 3) no 90 degree angles in air chuck/inflation device, the less resistance to air flow the better 4) on Airshot or copies of, the inflation tank use the larger lumen piece that you stick inside the valve stem. I just did a very tough tire- Panracer 700x38

It is a tubeless tyre... Try pump one and you'll see why...

You haven't tried to seat a tubeless tire have you? Some will seat with a floor pump, no problem... others... not so much.
