Really nice to see some one fab something up. You just can't get something like that in the US for a decent price. On top of that I love the fact that when you see it ppl say yep he made that sh*t not bought that sh*t! Nice job.

Thanks dude. I do love it. People get surprised when I say I made it too.

Amazing result and Grt video! You’re getting my wheels turning on doing one for my 60…. Did you consider doing some side protection? Like extend the protection forward off of the bumper ends…

Thanks dude. Definitely, I will plan to do sliders and scrub bars. But the panel works in need of a lot of attention before I go there

I've been trying to source a fuel carrier for my MCC bumper, but am striking out badly. Looks like I might go this route and try to match the tire swing arm as much as possible. It's been a year since this video, how are they holding up so far? Well done.

Still love it. Starting to rust a bit. Considering it’s only spray paint. I think I’ll upgrade the latches soon. They came off in some hardcore 4x4ing. Wouldn’t do the lights how I did.

Hey mate, looking at building on for my GQ shorty, what thickness metal did you use for the mounting plates to chasis/ recovery points? Cheers
@favouritejay Жыл бұрын
Hey dude. That’s awesome. The main bar was 5mm. The swing arms were 3mm

Coming along nicely. Looking forward to see how you do the latches. Do you still have the original spare underneath?
@favouritejay3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. Nah no spare underneath. Hopefully the next episode is up next week

@@favouritejay I removed my underneath spare to install a long range tank. So I assume you just have a gap under there now? If you have the original tank under there you should take it out to check out the top. I found fuel leaking out of my original tank on to the ground one day when I had a full tank and was parked on a bit of a slope. Leaves, dirt and crap can get caught between the tank and the floor causing it to rust out. I later herd that this is a common problem but no one told me about it.

Enjoying your your videos and good stuff mate. Regarding this video, are you gonna move rego somewhere else? Is it gonna hide a bit from the tyre and can?
