What are half-ass job repairing a puncture firstly you would be better off to use a reamer or the proper carbide tool not a drill bit you only want to push the steel belts to the side not use a drill bit to cut them which will cause a weakness in the tyre there is a particular type of wheel that you can use that fits onto a die grinder not a wire wheel you have more chances of getting wire stuck in the tyre
