You should see the finish you can get with Starbond. I do bentwood rings and do 10-12 coats on my rings. Sand up to 12000 grit and then buff. It is a mirror finish. It is a great product! Try it sometime you won’t be disappointed! No more oil finish is correct and people will be amazed at the shininess of your handles. Don’t take my word for it just try it on a scrap piece of wood and see for yourself. Should take about 20 minutes with the fast set spray!

@TyrellKnifeworks3 жыл бұрын
This one was just sold. Sorry but I don’t do custom orders. I make knives primarily as content for KZbin and since this is just a hobby and I have a regular day job, I don’t have the time to also do custom orders in addition to creating new content for KZbin each week. My builds for KZbin are rarely the same knives since viewers want to see something new in each build. If you see something you like on the channel, please reach out. Thanks for watching.

I see a lot of knife makers heat treat the guard and have always wondered why?
@TyrellKnifeworks2 жыл бұрын
I only heat treat Damascus guards so that they etch the same as the knife. If the Damascus isn’t heat treated, the non-nickel steel doesn’t get very dark. Thanks for watching.

How does filing a notch help with sharpening? Never heard it it before
