Matt is committing casual crimes. NOBODY predicted the 2022 Warriors would win the chip. Find me one analyst who gave them even a chance. Klay didn't come even come back until January. Everyone said the Grizzlies were the new Warriors and would stomp us. ESPN famously ran the graphic saying 82% chance the Celtics would win. They called it the "greatest defense of all time." Dubs were down 2-1 before Steph had an all time performance at the Garden to even it up. But the point is that they did it without a true second star. They just had a strong team of contributors, strong defense, and all-time great STEPH CURRY. To shrug them off like this is crazy.

In fairness, he gave Boston’s championship run a lot of credit when they won and he even said he enjoyed watching how they played, which is a lot to admit since he’s a Nuggets supporter.

@ke3p1tco0l2 I've heard him discredit the Celtics multiple times already this season. They had a historic season and playoff run and haven't really shown any signs of slowing down aside from two close losses when they were missing some starters.

What's funny is matt says people believe in the warriors on 21/22, lol No they didn't. But he uses the fact that they had one 3 chips as to why people believed (the didn't) then he turns right around and says he does believe in the warriors this season even though they have 4 chips. 1 more than the last time. Matt don't remember every host giving the warriors a 0 %chance of winning another title? The dynasty was over and then pickee Boston to win. Lol! If 6th probably 3rd or lower. You don’t have a single round with home court in the West and likely not in Finals if you make it. And historically going 7 means you are massively likely to lose your next round which is more likely with the way rounds are set up to favor the higher seed.
